GE CMS Prototype Full size detector ready for installation in CMS 3840 Readout channels. Based on NS2 Technology. Gaps between the detector electrodes

3/1/2/1mm All services integrated and compatible with

the CMS infrastructure. Thanks to NS2 method the detector can be

open and elements can be changed.

GE CMS Prototype - Power Consumption VFAT FEB power =18W HV Divider = 4W dc/dc converters - 80% efficiency GBT = 2.25W

Total Power for the detector is 34W

GE Integrated Readout Board For the moment the full size readout board is

foreseen to be 7 layers providing : Strips and connection to the FEB Power to the FEBs Ground connection LVDS signal lines from FEB to the optical

transceiver GBT
