LUGGAGEAs the majority of our pick ups are done by taxis we would like to stress that luggagemust be restricted to one medium suitcase per person (max 15kgs in weight) or onelarge suitcase per couple plus one item of hand luggage. Your “GEE VEE TRAVEL”luggage labels will be issued when you pay your balance and these must be clearlymarked with your name, address/pick up point and holiday destination.

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONSIf you are travelling to destinations detailed in your policy document which do notrequire you to inform the Insurer of any pre-exisiting medical conditions, then youneed to consider your answers to the following questions:

� Will you or anyone else be travelling against the advice of your GP or the carrier,their handling agents or any other public transport provider?

� Have you or anyone else been given a terminal prognosis?

� Will you or anyone else be on a waiting list, awaiting the results of tests or beaware of any surgery being required?

� Are you suffering from stress, anxiety or depression unless it has beeninvestigated and diagnosed as such by a specialist in the relevant field?

Cottage HotelThe hotel is a period building, therefore

rooms vary considerably. However, all

have private bath or shower and WC,

central heating, hair dryer, television

and tea/coffee making facilities.

Most also have radios or radio channels

on the TV.

The hotel is situated in an elevated

position in seven acres of grounds

overlooking Carbis Bay. It’s a slight walk

away from the beach and a 2 minute walk

to the train station. The Cottage Hotel

also has 2 bars, a outdoor heated pool,

ball room and entertainment provided

some nights, there is also a TV and sun

lounge. There is no lift in this hotel.

Longships HotelThe Longships Hotel is situated on the

main route through St Ives, overlooking

the harbour and town, with beautiful

views across the bay and north Cornish

coastline, and it is only a brief walk

from Portminster Beach, the town and

harbour.

All bedrooms are en-suite with tea/coffee

making facilities, television and hairdryers.

The Dining Room is a worthy setting for

their excellent tasteful cuisine. The lounge

which holds a book library and the

separate cocktail bar have magnificent

views overlooking St Ives Bay.

Unfortunately there is no lift.

Membly Hall HotelPerfect situation in a perfect

destination! The Membly Hall Hotel is

on the seafront of Falmouth. It is a

family run hotel with a friendly, relaxing

atmosphere. All bedrooms have en-suite

facilities and most have sea views.

We offer Wireless broadband connections

to our guests too. We also include

tea/coffee making facilities, colour

television, telephones and hair dryers with

a lift to all floors. There is also a sauna/spa

within the hotel with a jacuzzi, however,

Queens HotelThe historic port of Penzance is our base

for this tour of Cornwall featuring a day

trip to the wonderful Isles of Scilly.

The Queens Hotel is a 3 star family run

hotel which offers a high level of

comfort. Situated on the promenade with

striking views of St Michael’s Mount and

Lizard peninsula it offers a relaxing break.

All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee

making facilities and colour TV, there is

lift that serves all floors.

Day 1 Leave our pick up points and travel

directly to Penzance calling off at comfort

stops en route, arriving in time for evening

meal.

Day 2 Day at leisure.

Day 3 Today after breakfast we catch the

Scillonian ferry for the crossing to St

Mary’s the largest of the Isle of Scilly

(2 hours 45 mins crossing) we have until

teatime to enjoy the island before making

our way back to the mainland. Evening

meal will be served on arrival when we

return back to the hotel.


Day 5 We make our way to the southern

part of the UK, Lizard peninsula.

Day 6 Sadly after breakfast we depart and

make our way back home.

The Portbyhan HotelThe Portbyhan Hotel is situated along

the quayside over looking the quaint

Cornish fishing port of Looe. From street

level there are 10 steps including a chair

lift for disabled guests into the hotel

reception, all floors can be accessed by

stairs or lift. All our bedrooms are en-

Ashton Court HotelThe Ashton Court Hotel offers

magnificent views over the Esplanade,

the Exe Estuary and the scenic rolling

hills of the Devon countryside.

along the “Stream in the Sky”. The boat travels through the

beautiful valley of Llangollen and across the famous Pontcysyllte

Day 3 After breakfast today we take a drive into the charming

Roman walled city of Chester, with plenty of free time to explore

Day 4 Todays excursion is to the Snowdonia National Park via

Ruthin, following the scenic route through the mountains before

arriving at Bala and also Lake Bala.

style of an Italian village, and has survived

and was the village in the 1960 TV show

The Prisoner (entrance included in the

tour cost).

Day 4 Today we visit Criccieth. It is the

home of a medieval castle, built by the

Welsh in the mid thirteenth century.

We move onto Porthmadog a harbour

town with long maritime history.

Day 5 Sadly we depart to make our way

Scotland's top attraction, time here will involve a trip on the boat

to experience the only rotating boat lift in the world, joining the

Union Canal. In the afternoon we visit the magnificent 30 Metre

High Keipies 300 Tonnes horse head sculptures created by

Glasgow Artist Andy Scott.

Day 4 After breakfast we travel to Queens Ferry for the cruise

under the two famous Forth Bridges, as well as passing by the 3rd

bridge which is currently under construction and view the wildlife.

to the lovely Isle of Bute and the splendour of Mount Stuart.

Ferienhotel – FuchsJust 10 minutes from the centre of Soell, with lovely views of

the surrounding mountains this 3 star family run hotel is an

ideal location.

The hotel is wonderfully furnished in a traditional wood style for

a true Tyrolean atmosphere. During the summer months, guests

can relax on the outdoor terrace enjoying the mountainous

scenery. All 70 bedrooms are en-suite comfortable rooms

decorated and feature TV, hairdryer and free use of sauna and

Turkish bath. Unfortunately there are no tea and coffee making

facilities available in this hotel.

Day 1 Set off from your local area and travel south to make your

way through to Metz for your overnight stay and enjoy a three

course meal.

Day 2 Welcome to Soell! From Metz you will travel to Ferienhotel

Fuchs in Soell and be greeted by welcome drinks and a short video

on the local area.

Day 3 A day to be enjoyed at leisure with a guided walk of the

beautiful village, topped off with a brass band concert in Soell

(weather permitting).

Day 4 Today we take the steam train from Fuejen to Mayrhofen

for the 1st train ride of our tour. With time at leisure in

Mayrhofen.

Day 5 Journey down the Inn Valley to Jenbach and join the

original Achenseebahn cog railway. This dates back to 1889 and

the steam engines are some of the oldest in the world still to be

used for public transport. The trains winds its way up above the

Inn Valley to its destination, the heights Alpine lake in the Tyrol,

Lake Achen. Join the short boat cruise from Seepitz to Pertisau.

Perhaps enjoy lunch in the lakeside resort of Pertisau, or take a

stroll along the promenade.

resort De Panne, where life is

dominated by the sea.

The Hotel as 79 rooms with the

newest ibis design. 2 kms from the biggest amusement park in

Belgium, Plopsaland. Near the beach of De Panne but also close to

the Coast Tram that takes you from De Panne to Knokke and back.

Visit the nature reserves of De Panne and the Museum of World

War II. Close to World War I memorial sites. Easily to reach by

train, tram and car. There is also a lift in the hotel.

Day 1 Early pick up for your local departure point and we make

our way south for the Eurotunnel. We then continue to our hotel

for the weekend, which is situated just about hour drive from

Calais. The area where the hotel is situated is called “De Panne”

where you can stroll about at leisure and find cafes/bars and sit

and relax.

Day 2 After breakfast we make our way to the lovely town of

Dunkirk, Dunkirk is a commune in the Nord department in

Northern France. It lies 10 kilometres from the Belgium border.

Dunkirk is France’s most northerly seaport and France’s third

largest port after Marseille and Le Havre. Here you will have free

time for you to explore the sights, shops, bars and restaurants,

and harbour.

Day 3 After breakfast we make our way to “City de Europe” to

stock up on any duty free items (Allowances must be obeyed)

before we make our back to the tunnel for our crossing to arrive

back home early evening. (No evening meal).

Holiday InnThe Holiday Inn is situated just 20 minutes drive from

Disneyland Paris. The 3 star hotel has a good size restaurant and

atmospheric bar which are comfortable for guests to relax in

after a busy day at the park. All bedrooms are en-suite with air

If you choose to take out our travel insurance policy the premiummust be paid at the time of booking, along with a deposit of £30per person. 2. You pay the balanceThe balance of the fare must be paid via the office at which youmade your booking at least 6 weeks before the holiday departuredate. If you book within 6 weeks of the departure date you mustpay the full holiday cost at the time of booking. If the balance isnot paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retainyour deposit, and apply cancellation charges, all tour fares arepayable in sterling currency.

3. If you change your bookingIf you want to make any changes to your booking such as changingthe date or room type or joining point, we will do our best to helpbut we cannot guarantee to make the changes that you want. If wedo manage to make the changes we will normally charge £10 perbooking to cover our administration costs – plus any extra charges ifyou are buying a more expensive holiday. Some changes however areso significant that we will treat them as cancellations. Significantchanges include; transfer to a different holiday or departure date

within the balance due date. If it is impossible to go on holiday then,in some circumstances, you may transfer your booking to someoneelse (a transferee) if you give us reasonable notice.The transferee must be someone who satisfies all the conditionsfor the holiday. We will make an administration charge of £10 perperson for every transfer we make. We will also charge you for anyextra costs caused by the transfer. Both you and the transfereeremain responsible for paying for the holiday. If you do transferyour booking to someone else, that person must take out separateinsurance if insurance is required.

4. If you cancel your holidayYou, or any members of your party, may cancel your holiday atany time provided that the cancellation is made by the personwho booked and is communicated to us in writing or person viathe office at which you made your booking. As this incursadministration costs we will retain your deposit and, in addition,may apply cancellation charges.

5. If you have a complaint If you have a complaint during your holiday, please inform ourdriver/courier, or representative who will do his/her utmost toresolve the problem immediately. If the matter cannot be put righton the spot you must notify us in writing after the tour ends.Please address your letter to: GEE VEE TRAVEL, 37 St Marys Gate,Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 7TH, and give the tour title anddeparture date. Failure to establish your complaint immediately inaccordance with the above procedure may effect the outcome of it.

6. Statutory AuthoritiesThis brochure is issued subject to applicable Acts of Parliament andGovernment Regulations and the company reserves the right tomodify itineraries to conform with requests from the competentauthorities in the United Kingdom and any other sovereign statethrough which the tours run.

7. Conditions of CarriageWhen travelling on an GEE VEE TRAVEL coach you are carried underthe GEE VEE TRAVEL. Conditions of Carriage. When travelling on aferry or transport provided by any other Courier, the Conditions ofCarriage of that Courier apply and are subject to any applicableNational Conditions or International Conventions which may limitor exclude liability. The Public Service Vehicle (Conduct of Drivers,Conductors and Passengers) Regulations as amended 1990, applyto all coaches throughout any holiday in the UK.
