FITTING AND SET UP
This version work properly only on vehicle equipped with mechanical speedometer and electronic rpm tachometer. In the box is present also the speed sensor to reach speed signal.Wiring diagramThere are present 3 wires the following colours:BLACK = NEGATIVE TO GROUNDRED = POSITIVE TO CONNECT 12 VOLTS UNDER THE IGNITION KEYWHITE = RPM SIGNAL
Connect the wire for the powe supply (12 volts) Brown = negative – and Green positive + to12v if possibile under the ignition key (when you turn on the key the power arrive to display).Connect the White wire to rpm signal, to do this please see the application list present manual sec
-tion you can find yr vehicle and the wiring position.
Fit the speed sensor.Speed sensor fittingIn the box you’ll find also the speed sensor. This special sensor sense motion of ferrous geartooth targets or bolts and nuts in rotation. The sensor count the numbers of nuts or bolts across the surface or also the spokes of the sproket, the maximun distance from sensor to nuts is 1,5 mm. Must be fitted on the front wheel or rear wheel at yr choice, using the little support on the sensor, ad just the distance with the two nuts present on sensor.
Reset Procedure:Turn on the ignition key, with “-” on display, with the engine turned off, wait for two minutes untill on display will appear P 1 flashing, now repeat the set up. Beware if you leave the ingnition keys turned on for two minutes the gear indicator will effect the reset.

Collegare i fili relativi all’ alimentazione sotto chiave rispettando le polarita’ (Marrone=negativo Verde=positivo),Dopo individuate i collegamenti relativi al segnale contagiri motore, le applicazioni sono presenti nella tabella presente sul ns sito : www.gpt.it nella sezione download Raccomandiamo di non utilizzare i “rubacorrente” per i collegamenti, ma di saldare le connessioni Montaggio sensore velocita’Nella confezione e’ presente un sensore velocita’, deve essere installato in prossimita’ di una parte in rotazione, la sua funzione e’ quella di contare i bulloni o parti ferrose che passano davanti allo stesso. Il principio di funzionamento e’ quello di rilevare la presenza di corpi ferrosi in rotazione. Il suo posiziona-mento deve essere ad una distanza massima di 1,5 mm dal corpo in rotazione. Puo’ essere montato an-teriormente oppure posteriormente, utilizzando la piastrina e il corpo filettato per effettuare un corretto allineamento con i bulloni da contare, puo’ rilevare bulloni disco freno o corona ed anche le razze della corona stessa.
PROCEDURA DI RESET:Per effettuare il reset completo dell’indicatore di marcia con presente sul display il “-” , accendere lo strumento a motore spento ed attendere per due minuti fino all’apparire sul display P 1 lampeggiante, ora ripetere il set up come sopra descritto. Attenzione se involontariamente lasciate per piu’ di due minuti acceso il quadro a motore spento, l’indicatore di marcia effettuerà il reset !

PROGRAMMAZIONE : per le moto con sensore di velocità sulla ruota anteriore la programmazionedovrà essere effettuata su strada ! SERIE 3000 L’indicatore di marcia e’ equipaggiato anche con il flash di cambiata, una volta arrivatialla programmazione dell’ultima marcia, tirate la frizione, FRENATE la ruota posteriore, acceleratefino al regime di giri desiderato ed apparira’ la lettera H sul display, rilasciate l’acceleratore e spegneteil motore.SERIE 4000 Lo strumento e’ equipggiato con termometro per la temperatura esterna con allarme ghiaccio a + 4 °C
