The KC series gear pump comes in 6 sizes, i.e. 13,20,25,35,50 and 80mm’s. These simple rotary gear pumps have one stuffing box with a gland packing to serve as a grease lubricated bearing, the other three shaft ends are running in blind plain bearings. The lubrication of the three bearings depend entirely on the liquid being pumped. For further details regarding these pumps refer to Tech Data Sheet POS-3.

Our standard cast iron gear pump outfits can be used for a variety of high to medium viscosity fluids, THEY MUST NOT be used for petrol or other low flash point liquids. These outfits are available with electrical and engine power sources. Electrical versions come with single and three phase motors from 0.55kw to 7.5kw. Engines from 3.5hp to 13hp can be fitted to the 6 different sizes of cast iron gear pumps. For further details regarding these pumps refer to Tech Data Sheet POS-11.

KC SERIES

Gear pump outfits come in a variety of models to suit different applications. Outfits can be fitted with either electric motors or a range of petrol or diesel engines. The output shown on the graphs are based on pumping water at 20 degrees C. please note, although these pumps can be used for a range of oils, they must not be used for petrol or low flash point liquids. Pump output is strongly dependant on the viscosity of the fluid being pumped.

These Cast Iron Gear Pump outfits are specially designed for Molasses and Cattle supplementary feed pumping. For this application the pumping outfits are fitted with larger electric motors or engines and come with double or triple V belts for better traction. Our most popular molasses pump uses the 25mm gear pump.

We recommend that for any molasses pump installations, that the pipe sizes used for the suction and discharge pipes or hoses are at least 3 times the size of the pump inlet / outlet. It is also important to arrange the pipework to enable the flushing of the pump and pipework with hot water to remove molasses residue. A special Molasses drum dispensing unit can also be provided to pump Molasses directly from a 205 litre drum. This unit comes complete with inlet pipework and is placed directly on the top of the drum. For further details on these pumps refer to Tech Data Sheet POS-10

Gear PumpsBronze

These positive displacement, low displacement, low inertia pumps are excellent at pumping fluids at medium to high pressures. Gear pumps can be used to pump water and other non abrasive fluids. Very useful for pressure boosting, liquid transfer, factory process pumping and lubrication duties. Specific applications include the pumping of Tallow’s, transformer oils, heating oil, printers ink, paints, bitumen emulsions, molasses, jelly products, fertiliser, diesoline, kerosene, lubricating liquids and a wide variety of thick and thin liquids having some lubricating properties. please note: although these pumps can be used for a range of oils, they must not be used for petrol or other low flash point liquids. The output shown on the graph is based on pumping water. Pump output is strongly dependant on the viscosity of the fluid being pumped.

B SERIES - STANDARD UNIT

as Per standard unit PLus: n Full in built bypass valve, interchangeable for either direction. n Bypass valve has stainless steel seat and tension spring. n Bypass valve has a Viton O ring. n Available in 3 sizes 15mm, 20mm and 25mm.

B-RV SERIES - STANDARD UNIT

as Per standard unit PLus: n Complete with a Viton carbon ceramic mechanical seal. n Ball race on the drive end of drive shaft and a replaceable n glacier bearing on the opposite end. n Replaceable glacier bearings on the idler shaft. n Available in 3 sizes 15mm, 20mm and 25mm.

These Bronze gear pump outfits can be fitted with any of the different pump configurations such as the B, BB and B-RV series. All pumps come in 3 sizes of 15, 20 and 25mms. For our standard drivers, there is an option of a single or three phase electric motor or alternatively a Honda petrol engine fitted with a 6:1 ratio gearbox.

However, there are many possible uses for such pumps, should a standard unit not readily fit your application, Finsbury Powamac can engineer and manufacture a system to suit.For further details regarding these pump outfits, refer to Tech Data Sheet POS-12.
