GE-AUR Radiology Research Academic Fellowships GE-AUR Announce Solicitation of 1995 Research Fellowship Nominations GE and the Association of University Radiologists have jointly announced that nominations are now being accepted for 1995 GE-AUR Radiology Research Academic Fellowships (GERRAF). Up to five recipi- ents will be selected to receive 2-year GERRAF Fellowships beginning with the July 1995 academic year. GERRAF fellowships provide an annual stipend of $50,000 for 2 years to support original clinical and health services research in technology assessment, health and economic outcome methods, and decision analysis related to diagnostic imaging. Recipients are chosen by an independent review board comprised of eminent academic and clinical radiologists, other physicians, and scholars in related fields. To qualify, prospective GERRAF candidates must be board-certified radiologists holding junior faculty appointments at accredited radiology training institutions in the United States or Canada. Final selection criteria include the goal and quality of the proposed research project, the level of cooperation and com- n~itment of sponsoring institutions, and the recommendations of mentors and colleagues. Qualifying institutions may nominate one GERRAF candidate each year. Information packages are now being distributed directly to all eligible institutions, or write to: GE Medical Systems, GERRAF Program, Box 414 (NB-907), Milwaukee, WI 53201. Nomination deadline is October 31, 1994. Recipients will be announced in February 1995. 2
