Goals • Identify problem invasive species • Using a GPS, log the location of each species and record size • Create map layers with GIS to visually represent the data • Add GIS maps to the GBBG online database • Control infested sites while updating controlled area on map

for overlap) • Complete  control:  creeping  bellflower,  dame’s  rocket,  purple  

loosestrife, autumn olive, burning bush, and Japanese barberry • Partial control: garlic mustard, multiflora rose, and phragmites • Control methods used: hand pulling/ hand digging, hand wicking,

foliage spray, cut & paint, bundle-cut-paint
