Fixing to the support structure - flush-mounting model

Important: The following operation must be carried out by a competent technician.Installation can be carried out on different materials such as masonry, metal, solid wood andplastic laminated wood provided it is heat resistant (T 90°C).

Create an opening in the work surface of the dimensions shown in figure 1; for correct installation of thehob, the worktop must also be milled out to a depth of 2 mm.

Before inserting the hob, position the adhesive gasket suppliedaround the entire section of the underside which will comeinto contact with the worktop (fig. 2).Carry out the following operations:• Place the hob on top of the milled surface and, using the screws

and fixing brackets supplied, secure the hob to the supportstructure, ensuring it is perfectly level.

• Carefully trim any excess from the edge of the gasket. For installation in wooden worktops (especially chipboard), if thereis even the slightest gap between the milled surface and the edge ofthe installed hob, finish off by filling with a small amount of silicone. The lower part of the protective cover must be fully accessible when the appliance is installed.

Important:• tighten the hob fixing brackets to the kitchen worktop by hand, using minimum force.• If the cabinet worktop is in wood or similar, protect the edge of the milling with a primer before closing

with the sealing strip.

• Remove grids (A).• Extract burners (B).• Using a socket spanner of the appropriate size, unscrew the

injector (C) to be replaced.• Replace it with the injector suitable for the new type of gas.• Re-assemble the injector in (D).• If you have a multiple crown burner, use a side spanner to replace

the injector (E).

Before installing the hob, remember to affix the gas calibration platesupplied with the injectors in such a way that it covers the existinginformation relating to gas calibration.

Replacing the injectors (see the injector table in the instructions booklet for the specific type)

To ensure that the minimum setting is correctly adjusted, remove theknob and proceed as follows:• tighten the screw to reduce the flame height (-);• loosen the screw to increase the flame height (+).

The minimum flame adjustment must be performed with the tap inthe minimum position (small flame) .

• The primary air of the burners does not need to be adjusted.• Light up the burners and turn the knobs from max position to

minimum position to check flame stability.Upon completion of adjustment, reseal using sealing wax or anequivalent material.

Adjusting minimum setting of taps

This operation must be performed by a qualified technician.

If the appliance is intended to operate with a different gas from the gas type stated on the rating plate andon the sticker affixed to the top of the hob, the injectors must be changed.Remove the information label and keep it with the instructions booklet.

Use pressure regulators suitable for the gas pressure indicated in the Instruction.• The gas nozzles must be changed by After-sales Service or a qualified technician.• Nozzles not supplied with the appliance must be ordered from After-sales Service.• Adjust the minimum setting of the taps.

NOTE: when liquid petroleum gas is used (G30/G31), the minimum gas setting screw must betightened as far as it will go.
