PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Holy Name Family:
I pray that your week is off to a great start. Thank you to all those who
attended the Middle School Presentation on Thursday night. You can click
here to view the presentation if you were unable to attend.
Today Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Uptown is hosting an HNJ Night (all day
and takeout included)! 25% of their proceeds will go to HNJ. Just let them
know you are there for HNJ!
Tomorrow is our last day before Mardi Gras Break. We will have School
Mass in the Auditorium, the PreK/K Parade at 10:00 AM, and early
dismissal to avoid street closures and traffic for the parades (11:55-PK/K,
12:05-1st-4th, 12:15-MS/Walkers). School resumes on Thursday, February
11.
On behalf of the teachers and staff at HNJ, I would like to thank the 4th
grade classes and Ryan Beasley for the delicious king cakes. We also wish
everyone a very safe and festive Mardi Gras!
Also, please note that the date of the Gator Run and Men's Club Crawfish
Boil has been changed to Saturday, May 14 in order to avoid conflict with
the first weekend of Jazz Fest. There is a great deal of other important
information in this week's Gazette below.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything!
In His Holy Name,
Jessica A. Dwyer, M.Ed.
Principal

Early Check Out Procedure: We ask that you make all necessary
appointments for your child after school hours. However, if you need
to check your child out early, you must come to the school office prior
to 2:45 p.m. and sign them out. The office staff will call for your child
to meet you in the office. No students will be dismissed after 2:45 p.m.
This is done to ensure the safe dismissal of all students. Thank you
for your cooperation.

changes in your child’s afternoon transportation should only be made
in the event of an emergency. If an emergency occurs, please notify
the school office of any transportation change no later than 2:30

constitute an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation.
