Each one will be different! OCT 14 – Linda Rawson - “Glory”, will be made with watercolors on rice paper using wax as a resist. This painting will be 6” x 8” and everyone gets an 8" x 10" mat to fit. OCT 28 – Marty Spears “Wild Turkey”, is a 5 x 7” watercolor painting. The drawing will already be on the watercolor paper. Marty will teach us how to mix the colors and how to get different values (finished paintings will be placed in a mat and plastic sleeve). OCT 21 – Linda Rawson “Quilling Snowflake Candle” will be made using a quilling tool and strips of paper that we will glue to a 5 1/2” square board (choice of 3 colors) to make a snowflake that will have a battery candle as its center. NOV 4 – Patti Bealer “Weaving on a Cardboard Tapestry Loom”, learn the basics of tapestry weaving by using a simple cardboard or foam board loom. We will make coasters or small wall hangings in the time allowed.
