PORTERS ARE DOORKEEPERS

Psalm 84:10

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,

than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

We must protectthe presence (ark) of God:

1 Chronicles 15:23

And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

1 Chronicles 15:24

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer,

the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were

doorkeepers for the ark.
