Sample Probes

Elegantly simple in concept and design, we customize

to meet the needs of any gas sampling application. Our

unique design has a “tool free„ easy filter replacement

feature. Detailed attention is required in the selection of:

• material composition

• heated / non heated

• up or downstream filters

• filters with blowback capacity

• explosion proof version according to ATEX and CSA

Sample Pumps

Sample gas must be transported through the entire

sampling and conditioning system at a steady pressure

and flow. Too high of pressure in a pump can alter the

sample’s chemistry and variable pressure can induce

error in the measurement. Buhler’s unique bellows

pump design ensures steady even pressure and flow

regardless of filter loading. Completely inert wetted

materials, heated and un-heated designs combined

with ease of maintenance make the Buhler pump the

best analytical pump solution. Features include:

• no interference by gas containing condensate

• highly corrosion resistant materials

• ATEX Zone 1 and Class I Div. 1 and 2 available

Sample Coolers

Dry basis or standard condition measurements require

a stable dew point. An unstable dew point will bias the

measurement and in most cases will increase both

analyzer and system maintenance. Buhler Sample Gas

Coolers provide the most stable dew point in the industry

and feature the following:

• fast and efficient dew point stabilization

• single or multistream

• integrated automatic condensate drains

or peristaltic pumps available

• selection of heat exchanger materials

• explosion proof version according to ATEX available

• self controlling, with alarm outputs

Sample Filters

All Buhler sample filters are of analytical grade. The housings

provide easy access for maintenance. Main features include:

• easy to integrate and install

• no threads between head and bowl

• range of elements from fine to coalescing

• appropriate selection of materials

• bypass and drain connections optional

• heated versions available

Moisture Detectors

An essential safety device for your analyzer, the moisture

detectors protect the expensive and sometimes difficult to

Condensate Removal

Any time water dew points are reduced with a

cooler, condensate needs to be removed from the

sample gas stream. Selection of all materials used for

condensate removal is crucial. Condensate removal

technologies include:

• automatic drain for pressurized systems

• integrated or stand alone peristaltic pump

Flow Meters and Accessories

Inert and highly corrosion resistant flowmeters,

regulating valves, shut off and selection valves are

required components of any sampling system. These

components control the flow rate of the sample gas

to the analyzer. Features include:

• highly resistant materials

• suitable for gas or liquid

• bi-stable set point controller (optional)

• easy change of glass or flow indicator while

staying online

NOx - Converter

This unit allows for the accurate and reliable conversion

of NO2 to NO which is a necessary function for NDIR,

NDUV and chemiluminescent NOx analyzers.

Analyzers
