Adult Ministries

Mary and Jezebel

At 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel, led by Rev. JoAnne Chase

Have you ever wanted to meet Mary, mother of Jesus, face-to-face and ask her a question?

Would you like to meet Jezebel in person? Join us for a fun opportunity to do just that as we

explore two very different women—one from the Old Testament and the other from the

New—one selfish and self-absorbed and the other both generous and faithful.

Great Figures of the New Testament

At 10:00 a.m. in the Anderson Room through June 24, facilitated by Cliff Hill Join us for a DVD-based series by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine. In this study we will encounter

portraits of the cast of characters in the New Testament, taking a fresh look at how they have

been interpreted by both the secular culture and the church. This week: The Good Samaritan

and the Prodigal Son.

All VBS and BLAST volunteers are encouraged to attend to receive materials for their roles,

meet their ministry teams—and enjoy a dessert bar.
