*Call to Worship Rev. JoAnne Chase
You have sent your prophets with counsel, but we prefer the words
of the nations.
Help us listen to your voice, O Lord.
You have sent your laws with truth, but we prefer the laws of
the nations.
Help us listen to your voice, O Lord.
You have sent your Word Incarnate, but we prefer our own means
of salvation.
Forgive us, O Lord.
*Hymn My Hope Is Built 368
Opening Prayer
O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your
inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by
your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our
Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
*Doxology LASST UNS ERFREUEN

Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass
against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
