ABC News January 12, 2019: A super wolf blood moon is going to appear in all its stunning splendor later this month, as a rare cosmic gesture to welcome in 2019.
People who live in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the central Pacific region could take a glimpse of this stunning image late on the evening of Jan. 20 and into the early morning hours of Jan. 21, according to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). [Cont’d].
The eastern side of North America will have the best view, but the full lunar eclipse will be visible from coast to coast, and will last far longer than most eclipses, with a duration of roughly one hour and three minutes. Super blood wolf moons are highly uncommon: only 28 are expected to align this century.
What is a ‘super blood Wolf moon’? “So a super blood wolf moon" is: a) the first full moon in January; b) a full moon occurring when the distance between the Earth and Moon is as short as possible; c) a lunar eclipse--all happening at once!”

November 11, 2014: The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has been a leading voice in the call for amnesty for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in America today. In September 2013, Kevin Appleby, the director of immigration policy for the Conference, told the New York Times that “We want to pull out the stops” to press for comprehensive immigration reform, including a pathway to citizenship. Columnist Mike Flynn, writing for the conservative news website breitbart.com, observed, “The Church’s effort in support of amnesty seems broader and more coordinated than its actions against an ObamaCare mandate requiring coverage of contraception.” While this might be an exaggeration, there is no doubt that the Catholic bishops are a leading force behind the call for amnesty. The summer inundation of unaccompanied minors has given new impetus to the Church for renewing this call.
The Catholic Church in America prides itself on being an immigrant church. This is not false pride.
JANUARY 3, 2019: During a visit to Tehran on December 29, Ziyad Nakhalah, leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), met with the top echelons of Iran’s leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran’s head of the Supreme Security Council, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, told Nakhalah that “Iran has always been supportive to the resistant and oppressed Palestinian people since the very start of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s establishment, which was inspired by our religious and humane beliefs, and will continue until the complete victory of the resistance process.” [Cont’d]
Nakhalah gave an interview to the Iranian TV channel Al-Alam in which he revealed the “Axis of Resistance” plan, led by Iran, to attack Israel from the north and the south. PIJ serves as Iran’s proxy in Gaza. Nakhalah’s statements were issued several days after his public meeting in Beirut with the leader of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah.
“In the next confrontation with the occupation,” declared Nakhalah, “the axis of resistance will operate from the north [Lebanon] to the south [Gaza]. There will be open channels of collaboration, without any limitation or red lines. Each Israeli attack will be answered with a reaction from the entire axis of resistance. All forces will participate in it, as they will form a single axis. Iran supports the Palestinian resistance and the Hezbollah organization. The resistance is in its best situation. There have been qualitative developments in the capabilities of the Palestinian resistance. Next year, we will see big changes in favor of the resistance.” [Cont’d]

President Donald Trump says he will make a major announcement on the government shutdown and the southern border on Saturday afternoon from the White House…Trump says the announcement … involves “the Humanitarian Crisis on our Southern Border.”
Earlier in the week, Pelosi had asked Trump to reschedule his Jan. 29 State of the Union address, citing security issues at a time when the Homeland Security Department and other agencies remain unfunded. [Cont’d.]
Trump responded by canceling the military plane that was to have carried Pelosi and a congressional delegation to Afghanistan on the previously undisclosed troop visit. Trump suggested she travel by commercial plane instead.
Trump had belittled the trip as a "public relations event" … and said it would be best if Pelosi remained in Washington to negotiate to reopen the government…
The political tit-for-tat between Trump and Pelosi laid bare how the government-wide crisis has devolved into an intensely pointed clash between two leaders determined to prevail…
The White House also canceled plans for a presidential delegation to travel to an economic forum in Switzerland next week, citing the shutdown.
Delaware Online, Jan. 17, 2019: “Day 27. That's where the partial government shutdown stood as of Thursday, the longest in U.S. history, as President Donald Trump still demands $5.7 billion in funding for a border wall, and Congress still won't give it to him…
Most of the president's aides "would like him to find a way out" of the shutdown, the New York Times reported, but Trump has told them the country won't remember the shutdown but will remember his fight over protection for the border.”
US Government Shutdown Now Longest Ever: Will it Affect Stock Market?

On Jan. 20, 2017, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, pledging emphatically to empower America's "forgotten men and women." Protesters registered their rage against the new president in a chaotic confrontation with police just blocks from the inaugural parade.
Note: This one of the “longest” blood moons, is occurring under the “longest” US Govt. Shut down, under Trump’s inauguration, and over “border security and immigrants.”
JANUARY 15, 2019: “London — Parliament rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's proposed divorce agreement with the European Union on Tuesday evening in a ballot dubbed the "Meaningful Vote.“...
May's deal was rejected by a vote of 432 to 202, a stinging gulf of more than 200 votes... The final 230 vote difference is a strong signal from British lawmakers -- including many of those in her own party -- that they lack confidence in her ability to continue handling the Brexit process….
The two-year pre-withdrawal period sparked by Britain's official request to leave the EU ends on March 29, in just 10 weeks. At that point, barring an upheaval in Parliament that reverses the process … under EU rules, the United Kingdom will be out…
If she wants to go back to the EU and try to completely renegotiate the deal she has been pushing in London, it would almost certainly require more than 10 weeks... All 27 other member states would need to agree to the delay, and even if they do, many pro-Brexit lawmakers and members of the British public would be outraged and see it as a betrayal of the public will.

Jan. 17, 2019: “The Haitian immigrant claimed she informed the hotel from the time she was hired, in April 2006, that she could not work on Sundays because she was a missionary for the Soldiers of Christ Church.
“I love God,” Pierre, 60, told NBC Miami on Wednesday. “No work on Sunday, because Sunday I honor God.”
For most of that time, the hotel respected her religious beliefs and allowed her to have Sundays off. However, that changed in October 2015, after a kitchen manager insisted on scheduling her to work on Sundays.
Pierre had her pastor write a letter explaining it would be a violation of her religious beliefs to do secular work on the Sabbath — but the manager allegedly threw it away, according to a copy of a complaint Pierre would later file against the hotel chain… Despite the staggering figure, Pierre will receive at most $300,000 out of the $21 million because of a cap on punitive damages. However, Brumer noted that jurors did not know there was a cap.
AZ Central News: Jan. 16, 2019: A new caravan of migrants headed for the United States has left San Pedro Sula, the same city in Honduras where a large caravan left in October and arrived at the United States' southern border in November…
The latest caravan is part of a growing wave of Central Americans, among them many families with children and children unaccompanied by parents, arriving at the southern border and requesting asylum, amid a government shutdown now in its fourth week over a dispute over border wall funding between Trump and congressional Democrats.
NBC5 News, Jan. 21, 2019: The Israeli military said its jets struck a series of Iranian military targets in Syria early Monday… The strikes were in response to a surface-to-surface rocket that Iranian forces fired toward Israel on Sunday that was intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system... That followed a rare Israeli daylight air raid near the Damascus International Airport… The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Monday's pre-dawn strikes lasted for nearly an hour and were the most intense Israeli attacks since May. It said 11 were killed in the strikes. The Russian military said four Syrian troops were among those killed in airstrikes that targeted three different locations and damaged unspecified infrastructure at Damascus airport… In Iran, the chief of Iran's air force, Gen. Aziz Nassirzadeh, said his forces are "impatient and ready for a fight against the Zionist regime to wipe it off the Earth," according to a news website affiliated with Iran's state television, YJC.ir. Yaakov Amidror, a former Israel national security adviser, said that rather than pre-election rhetoric, the remarks meant to escalate words before escalating actions — and clarify that Israel was willing to take chances to stop Iran from building a war machine in Syria.
"If you want to ... make clear to the other side that you are determined to prevent something, either you escalate the operation ... or you say in public 'I am doing it,' meaning 'I am ready to take the risk,'" he said. "When the Iranians didn't understand it and fired a rocket into Israel, the reaction was immediate.“

The Russian military said that the Syrian air defenses shot down over 30 Israeli cruise missiles, a claim that was doubted in Israel…
Israel holds Syria responsible for allowing the Iranian forces to use Syrian territory as a base of operations against Israel…Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said the Iranian rocket attack provided "live testimony" to Iran's entrenchment in Syria that could plunge the entire Mideast into war.
