GARDENERS ~ SAVE THE DATE! Join us for the 2020 Western North Carolina Gardening Symposium at Blue Ridge Community College, Flat Rock, NC Adaptive gardening expert Toni Gattone is our keynote speaker, whose topics will include gardening for life and growing edibles in containers. Other featured speakers are artist, educator, and landscape designer Preston Montague, Brenda Rosbrook from Raymond’s Nursery in Hendersonville, and Sue Goetz, owner of Creative Gardener in Tacoma, Washington. Preston has generously donated a framed print of the beautiful botanical art on this page, which will be raffled off at the symposium. The event will be held at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock. With easy access just off I-26, the facility offers a roomy conference center with excellent graphic displays and sound, plus a central area where the vendors will be situated so you can easily see everything they have to offer. The symposium fee is $65, or $60 if you register before the early bird deadline. We have a fabulous new caterer who will provide a continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon coffee break. As always, there will be wonderful door prizes, great vendors, and plenty of free parking. Attendance for the full day is valid for 5 hours of continuing education.
