The 2012 JIC Winners’ Recital took place on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Church of the Annunciation inWashington, DC. The gifted young string players who performed at the concert each won first prize in their division and $10,000 at the Sixth Triennial Johansen International Competition in March 2012.

The recital was attended and enthusiastically received by a near-capacity crowd. The concert was videotaped by Phyllis Freeman and is posted on her website www.classicalmusiccity.com.
