How to become• Education• Required to have a professional degree in architecture from one
of the architecture schools accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board
• Training• Usually at least 3 years before able to take the licensing exam
• Licenses• Must be licensed in all states and the District of Columbia
• Certification• Many architects voluntarily get certification by the National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards which can make getting licensed easier
