YOU WILL NEED• 1Plainpieceofpaper

• 4scrapsofplainorcolouredpaper

• Anydrawingmaterials(pencils,crayons,pens)

• Scissors

• Glueortape

Optional:

• Anyscrapsoffabricyoumayhave,buttons,ribbonsetc.

METHOD Take 2ofyourscrapsofpaper.Usingyourdrawingmaterials,filltheseinwithzoomed-inpatternsfromyourfavouriteclothes.

Withtheother2scrapsofpaper,filltheseinwithzoomedintextures.Youcantakeinspirationfrommaterialsaroundyou,ormakethemup.

Here are some questions to help you

What sort of features can you find on clothes like collars, pockets or zips?

What sort of clothes go together to make an outfit?

How can you draw textures? Circles for sequins, zig-zags for zips, loops

for fluffy material?

Cut outsomeclothesshapesoutofyourscrappatternedpapers.Tops,tunics,trousers,shoes,accessories?Addpiecestogethertocreateyouroutfitforthefuture.

Sticktheseonyourplainpieceofpaper.Ifyouhaveanyextraelementslikefabrics,buttons,ribbons,youcanstickthemonyourwork.

Once youarehappy,youcanuseyourdrawingmaterialstocreateyourcharacterswearingtheoutfits.Addanyfutureaccessoriesyoucanimagine.
