Child population in Glasgow (i.e. those residents aged 15 years and under) is 97,236 – representing 16.4% of the city’s total population
28,251 children are aged 0-3 years (i.e. 29.1% of the total child population)
12,382 are aged 4-5 years (12.7%)
38.4% of Glasgow’s child population is considered ‘vulnerable’
