• Learn the skills of a college reader.• Completion of READ 0399 requires you to…– Attend CASA 7 times in reading and 7 times in

writing…a total of 14 appointments.– Complete assignments both in groups and

individually.– Pass your English class with a grade of C or better!

What will we be doing in class?• Thinking through reading and writing.• Gaining vocabulary skills.• Learning questioning strategies used.• Reading materials that are college level.• Using strategies with current reading

assignments. • Applying reading strategies for writing

purposes.
