If you would like to host a private function or event at Coogee Wine Room, the upper level offers the following spaces.

LOUNGE AREA

We have an informal lounge area that can be configured as:

> A lounge for up to 20 guests, ideally suited to casual food and drinks

> A stand-up cocktail party for up to 25 guests

The Lounge may also be used as a private meeting room during the day for those looking for a less formal meeting environment.

DINING ROOM

Our dining room offers:

> A sit-down lunch or dinner for up to 28 guests


The Dining Room is equipped with a projector for the display of presentations or video.

THE ENTIRE UPPER LEVEL

For larger private functions and events, you may hire the entire top floor of the venue on an exclusive use basis, which can be configured as:

> A sit-down event for up to 28 guests in the Dining Room with pre-dinner drinks in the Lounge


FUNCTIONS AT COOGEE WINE ROOM

FOOD

Our general approach with food for functions

& events is to offer you as much flexibility

in designing a menu that suits your taste

and budget.

For sit down dinners we offer two menu

options, both which are designed to be

shared at the table.

For stand-up cocktail parties, we offer a

canapé menu that is primarily comprised of

suitable dishes from our main menu with a

couple of surprises thrown in at a fixed price

of $65 per person.

Our kitchen will gladly cater for special dietary

requirements, just let us know in advance.

on request.

BEVERAGES

We’d be delighted to work with you on

putting together a fantastic drinks menu for

your private function or event, utilising our

extensive wine list and wine knowledge to

curate an amazing wine experience for

your guests.

We have two suggested approaches to

choosing wine for your function.

OPTION APeruse our Functions Wine List to select an

assortment of wines for your event. As a

minimum, we suggest that you chose:

> 1 champagne or sparkling wine

> 2 white wines

> 2 red wines

OPTION BAllow us to curate a wine offering that

supports the menu you have chosen for

your function, your budget and your wine

preferences. We can put together a wine list

for your function that might be focused on a

particular country, a particular varietal across

countries, a series of different wines that

complement your chosen food or in many

other formats.

In addition to wine we also offer beer,

non-alcoholic options, spirits and cocktails.

Drinks will be charged on consumption. If you

want to set an upper limit for your drinks tab

we can do this.

OUR FOOD + BEVERAGE OFFERING

BIRTHDAY CAKES

If you wish to bring your own cake to celebrate a birthday

or a special event, we’d be delighted to serve it to your guests, for which a $3 per head charge applies.

The minimum spends for each of the

function spaces is as follows:

Peak covers functions from Friday night through to Sunday night. Off-peak covers functions from Monday night through to Friday lunch. A service charge of 10% applies.
