serious spirit, our offerings showcase Gin’s versatility and lively approachability with a selection of drinks that are bound

to please. So relax, enjoy some fine food and drinks, and let us take you back to a time when Gin was magic…and drinking

The Space It could be that you are just looking for an area to relax with friends, or just need a space for you and your work

colleagues to unwind on a Friday afternoon, either way we have you covered. With different areas available for

booking, and a variety of minimum spends options, the organizing of your perfect event has never been easier.

The Cellar. Our Cosy cellar is home to our wine library, and is perfect for small groups of 6-16 people. This cosy room is tucked away to the side and can be completely shut off from the rest of the bar if you need to have those private work functions or left open overlooking the back courtyard to allow you to be part of it all while still being able to enjoy your own space. Our cellar comes with a $700 minimum, making it perfect for any occasion.

Courtyard and Cellar. Our Courtyard and Cellar is perfect for groups of 16-50 people. This area has a real charm to it, with lush green palms, wooden timber tables, and fairy lights under the Brisbane sky. This area is available for hiring every night of the week. Monday to Thursday the minimum spend is $1500, whilst Friday and Saturday the minimum spend is $2300, and on Sunday it is $2500. This is the perfect area for catching up with large groups of friends or for the occasional office party.

The Whole Venue. Got a lot people coming to your next event? That’s ok! You can book out the whole venue to yourselves. For groups of 20 or more, this is perfect way to have a great night without having to climb over people at the bar that you don’t know. Monday to Thursday the venue has a minimum spend of $3000, Friday and Saturday the minimum spend is $3500, and $4000 on a Sunday.

“How can I meet the minimum spend?” The minimum spend can be met however you like. It could be a combination of doing one of our Gin tastings and adding some cheese and charcuterie boards, or as simple as setting up a bar tab to let your friends try any number of drinks. You are only limited by your imagination.

Option 1: Antipasto Artisan cheese and freshly sliced charcuterie boards, put together by our highly trained team. The perfect accompaniment to any bottle of wine. Prices per head are detailed here. Option 2 : Classic Chinese We offer you the opportunity to ‘BYO’ Chinese dishes from our neighbouring restaurant, Enjoy Inn. Think classic Chinese style share plates, and a range of mouth-watering rice based dishes, from Chicken and Pork, to Prawn and Lobster – we can assist you to put together the perfect selection for your event. Option 3: Feasting For when only the very best will do. We will work with you and our catering partners to put together an individually tailored 3 course menu for your group that perfectly matches your wine selection. Menus can be tailored to meet your budgets.

Gin Tasting Packages

Gin Safari is perfect for small groups of Gin hunters looking for that perfect Gin experience. This package is available through bookings only, and is great for groups of 2-12 people.

It can be booked any day of the week.

GIN MASTER CLASSES

We would like to welcome the weary, and the already converted Gin folks of the world, to Proud Henry’s Gin Master Classes! Let us take you through the ages and stages and give you a fun and educational experience on Gin. Taste and enjoy traditional Gins, or ones with flare, and learn how to have them best served in a fun and

interactive way. Available for groups of 10 or more.

Wine Down Options

Our tastings run for a duration of 90 minutes and feature 6 boutique wines, all hosted by one of our resident wine

experts. However, timings and format can be altered to fit your event - we don’t believe that one size fits all! See

Silver - $40/head A fun style suitable for all. Pick a theme or let us surprise you. Designed to introduce our guests to new styles and varietals, and give greater confidence in understanding and selecting wines. Gold - $60/head Here we take it up a level to really get under the skin of your chosen theme. Tasting prestige boutique wines, this is the perfect tasting for groups wanting to develop their passion for wine. Platinum - $100/head No holds barred here. This is every wine lover’s ultimate dream – rare vintages and top-drawer wines guaranteed to impress. Every tasting is entirely unique, depending on what special bottles we have available in the cellar (and the tastes of our group of course!). Think Hill of Grace, Penfold’s Grange, Krug…

Terms & Conditions

Upon confirmation; your credit card details are required on the booking confirmation sheet to secure your function. A 50% deposit of the total minimum spend will be made on the card; it is used as a security to confirm your booking, and will be credited towards your final bill.

The payment of all Food & Beverages are to be settled on the day / night of your function unless prior arrangement has been made with the Venue for an alternative method of payment.

Confirmation of guests & final details for your function is required a minimum of 72 hours prior.

Proud Henry reserves the right to charge you for the final number of guests confirmed unless sufficient notice has been provided that your party size has gone down.

Upon cancellation a fee of 50% may be charged if less than 72 hours notice is given.

Surcharge - An 8% Gratuity will be added to all group 10ppl and above. A 10 % Surcharge will apply on Sundays.

Credit Cards – a 1.5% credit card surcharge applies on all card payments.

All prices are inclusive of GST.

Menu & Beverage Information

Set Menus and Packages are compulsory for all groups of 10 or more guests

Please advise us of any guests with dietary requirements or allergies, we will customise their meals as best we can.

Changes to the menu - Please note that our set menus are subject to regular changes due to seasonal variations.

Conduct of Event:

Guests between the ages of 18 years old and 21 years old should carry photo identification on them at all times.

The client shall conduct the event in an orderly manner compliant with the rules of the venue and in accordance with all applicable laws.

Smoking is not permitted in the venue.

The client is liable for the actions of their invitee’s and any damages or losses incurred. Any costs will be invoiced directly.

Venue rights:

The venue does not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any property belonging to the client, client’s guests or invitees.

The venue reserves the right to exclude or remove any undesirable persons from the event or the venue premises without liability.

The venue also reserves the right to cancel the booking if:

The venue or any part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond the restaurant’s control

The client becomes insolvent, bankrupt or enters into liquidation or receivership

The event may prejudice the reputation of the venue

The deposit (where applicable) has not been paid by the due date

Responsible Service of Alcohol – Proud Henry’s Management and Employees will at all times be bound to state licensing laws and the responsible service

of alcohol act .
