We think there’s nothing more rewarding for employees than a day of fun and collaboration out with the usual office environment. Your very own taste of Scotland
Scotland’s Highland Games are world-famous. We can plan and run your very own Highland Games event at a location to suit you, whether it be in rural Perthshire at our wonderful BlueSky Venue, or at one of our Castle venues or why not try our Edinburgh base, Hopetoun House, as the perfect setting for a Highland Games.
Highland Games also combines perfectly with other country pursuits such as falconry, archery, or clay pigeon shooting creating an event for everyone. For those that want the full Scottish experience, a full day can be designed incorporating our Highland Safaris or Great BlueSky Multi Activities creating a day to remember in Scotland. Whisky tasting now there is the perfect finale to a day of awesome activities with that well earned dram at a local distillery or, at our very own Strathearn Distillery here at BlueSky.
Highland Games has always been one of BlueSky Experiences best-selling activities. Great fun and accessible to everyone. Our Games comprises of many different activities including Tossing the Caber, Haggis Hurling, Hammer Throwing, Farmer’s Dash and many more!
The Games make for the perfect activity for a corporate fun event as it gets the whole team to compete against each other in clans and have a great time together.
We can include traditional Scottish pipers and dancers, traditional Scottish confectionery and refreshments and even kilts and ‘See You Jimmy’ hats to make this event really come alive!

If you think giant inflatables are just for children’s parties, then think again! Now you and your team can experience the thrill, excitement and sheer exhilaration of BlueSky’s It’s a Knockout activity. Your team must work together tactically to accomplish each challenge, remembering that it’s not always the fastest and fittest that win the race.
Our It’s a Knockout challenge will see groups split into teams and undertake head to head challenges as they travel around the course, completing a range of activities: think school sports day! It’s a race from the start line and each team must complete all obstacles in order, from Egg & Spoon race to the Space Hopper challenge, it will test a range of skills from concentration to stamina. Of course, we can’t forget about the inflatable challenge at the end!
At BlueSky Experiences, we have developed It’s a Knockout to be a fun and engaging adventure day for everybody, regardless of age or ability. Each team must work together and identify each other’s strengths that will enable them to come out on top! A great team fun event.

Your very own adventure race
BlueSky have created the ultimate team adventure race based in and around our stunning 700 acre venue located in Perthshire. We will get your whole team active as they feel the thrill of adventure racing. Due to the layout and timings of the race, it is not necessarily the fittest or fastest team who will win - planning is the key to success.
Before we start the clocks, teams will be given a map and route book to plan their preferred route and team tactics. The team’s goal will be to visit as many check points and adventure challenges as possible. Teams will be rewarded at the checkpoints and through the completion of the challenges with bonus time.
Your adventure race will included approximately 20 different challenge points such as:
• Low and High Rope Challenges
• Quad Bike Agility
• Mountain Bike Agility
• Eco Challenges
• GPS Navigation
• Archery
• Air Rifles
• Inflatables
• Map reading and many secret disciplines
Which team will plan ahead to come out on top?
Who will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle?
BlueSky have used their extensive venue and activities to the full, creating a fun adventurous day for everyone regardless of age or ability. Now the whole team can experience the thrill, excitement and sheer exhilaration of adventure racing in an I’m a Celebrity format. Not necessarily the fastest and fittest team will win but the team with the best tactics and plan will certainly come out on top!
Armed with your orienteering map and route check book you will be tasked with navigating to various celebrity challenge check points and completing secret disciplines and celebrity challenges. Each team member must complete at least one celebrity challenge - utilising your team skills to the max to secure celebrity status. Celebrity Challenges will allow your team to gain stars depending on your level of success.
Celebrity Challenges could include:

• Aerial Drop Zone
• The Blackout Zone

At BlueSky Experiences our range of outdoor activities are perfect for getting the team out of the office for some good old fashioned fun, you can choose your own mix of challenging outdoor activities to create a Great BlueSky away day for your team or client group, designed with enjoyment in mind for everyone.
From motorised activities to Highland Games challenges, there’s something to suit everyone. Why not let your team choose a few options and let us create a day jam-packed from start to finish. Test yourself across a range of new experiences; hovercrafts, quad bike trekking, off road driving, archery, falconry, white water rafting, gorge walking, abseiling, laser clay shooting and mountain biking.

If you like the outdoors there is nothing better to blow the cobwebs off than some adventure based activities; white water rafting, canyoning, river bugging, river duckies or abseiling.
White Water RaftingOne of the most thrilling water activities created. White water rafts are designed to handle everything the river can throw at them. Your team will work with one of our experienced guides to navigate the rapids. These rapids come in a Grade from 1 (flat, scenic) to 5 (high adventure). You will have access to a choice of rivers from the fun and bouncy (Grade 2 & 3) to the might of a Grade 3, 4 or 5. The choice is yours. CanyoningIf you prefer you can jump, swim, walk or even abseil down the river when taking part in canyoning. A very different activity that sees you work with our highly trained guides to descend through gorges or canyons. Throughout the trip you will get the chance to jump, scramble and swim in amazing natural beauty. Adrenaline will flow and excitement will be had. River DuckiesA cross between a white water raft and a kayak, a River Duckie is an excellent and exciting way to experience the river under your own control. Navigate the rapids and experience the thrill of being the captain of your own Duckie. Each Duckie sits two and each trip is guided by one of experienced guides from a kayak.
River BuggingIf you looking for something that resembles an inflatable armchair to whip you through the rapids then look no further. River Bugging is high energy, adrenaline fueled excitement. A team of Buggers work with our highly trained river Bugging Guides to see every nook and cranny the river has to offer. If rafting is the 4x4s of the river, then Bugging is the low profile sports cars, you will feel and see everything like never before. Excitement guaranteed. AbseilingWhat goes up must come down, experience thrill of being at height in a secure and safe environment. Our experts will guide and assist you as you lower yourself down a vertical rock-face. Experience the weightlessness, the adrenaline rush of going over the edge and don’t forget to take in the views.
