Day 1 : Arrive Jordan

Today, embark on your exciting tour of Jordan. Meet and assist at Queen Alia Airport, our

representative to assist clients through formalities and luggage collection, this morning,

tour the city of Amman, known as Rabbath Ammon and Philadelphia in Biblical times. See

the remains of the Roman Theatre, the Archeological Museum and the Citadel containing

the remains of the massive Temple of Hercules. Later transfer to your hotel in Amman hotel

for overnight.

Day 2 : Visit the lowest point on Earth - The Dead Sea.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on an exciting tour to the lowest point in the earth -

Dead Sea. Without a doubt the world's most amazing place, the Jordan Rift Valley is a

dramatic, beautiful landscape, which at the Dead Sea, is over 400m (1,312 ft.) below sea

level. The lowest point on the face of the earth, this vast stretch of water receives a number

of incoming rivers, including the River Jordan. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are

land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich,

cocktail of salts and minerals that supply industry, agriculture and medicine with some of

its finest products. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty

water itself - some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium,

sodium, potassium, bromine and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant

and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod

the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the

Dead Sea's rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking

up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun.

Local lunch will be provided today. Transfer back to your hotel in Amman hotel.

Day 3 : Explore the legendary rose-red city of Petra - The New Wonder of the World

and a UNESCO World Heritage Site

After Breakfast, drive to Petra and enjoy visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction

of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs, a

nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire, you can start the

trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then walk to the most

beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here we explore the city to see the Street of

Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Enjoy a wonderful local lunch today.

Transfer back to your hotel in Amman hotel.

Day 4 : Day free at Amman or chance to visit Jerash - Madaba - Mt, Nebo

After breakfast day is free to explore Amman on your own. Shopping in Amman can be an

exciting experience. Designer boutiques, particularly those in Sweifieh, Abdoun and Jabal

al- Hussein, offer the very latest in clothing and accessories. Amman also boasts a wide

assortment of shopping centres such as Abdoun Mall, Amman Mall, Mecca Mall, Barakeh

Mall, Sweifieh Avenue, Istikalal Mall, City Mall, Taj Mall and the Zara Shopping Centre. The

Gold Souq, located in the downtown area, is famous for its dazzling array of very

competitively-priced handmade gold and silver work; you can still practice your bargaining

skills for these. When you purchase goods in Jordan, the purchase price you pay includes a

sales tax (similar to VAT) of 16%. However, if you are a tourist from outside of Jordan, you

are entitled to receive a sales tax refund on the goods purchased; therefore making great

Jerash - Madaba - Mount Nebo you can purchase the same as Optional tour. After Breakfast,

we will drive you to Jerash, the "Pompeii of the East" which is perhaps, the best preserved

of the provincial Roman towns. Around its colonnaded main street, see the Cardo, South

Theatre, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Artemis Temple and the Nymphaeum. The

city's 14 churches date from Byzantine time and are filled with fine mosaics then drive to

Madaba, home to some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world. View the 6th century

mosaic Map of Jerusalem, possibly the oldest map of the Holy City in existence. Continue to

Mount Nebo, highest point in the Moabite mountain range, offering a remarkable view of

the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the spires of Jerusalem. Tradition holds that Moses

viewed "the Promised Land" from this peak transfer to your hotel in Amman hotel for

overnight

Day 5: Depart

After breakfast, bid good-bye to the friends you made on the Tour. After checking out from

the Hotel, proceed to the airport, where your memorable Thomas Cook tour of Jordan

Transportation (if applicable for your booking) shall be provided as per the
