Each product is durable to stand up to the rigors of daily

use in a food processing facility:

Tub and tool surfaces, handles and brush bristles are

designed so they can be adequately cleaned and

properly maintained.

Seams on food-contact surfaces are smooth and

designed to minimize the accumulation of food

particles, dirt, or organic matter, as well as minimize

the opportunity for growth of microorganisms.

All products are made of nontoxic materials and

designed to withstand the environment of their intended

use and the interaction with food, cleaning compounds

and sanitation agents.

Cleaning tools are designed to facilitate the cleaning

and sanitation of food-contact equipment and surfaces.

Remco offers a wide range of brush styles to meet the

varying demands of food processors. Choose the brush

that best fi ts the application:

Quality and efficiency. The right tool for the hygiene-essential job.

Soft — Ideal for sweeping dry, fi ne

particles like fl our and sugar.

Medium — Suitable for wet or dry

applications; great for sweeping larger

food particles such as peelings.

Stiff — Perfect for scrubbing diffi cult dirt

and for wet use with cleaning agents.

Soft/Stiff Combo — The best of both

worlds offering stiff bristles that loosen

stubborn dirt and soft bristles that sweep

away fi ne particles.

water and cleaning agent to achieve a

Vikan Single Blade Ultra Hygiene Squeegee — Zero seams or cracks for bacteria to hide,

providing the highest level of hygiene. The hygienic design has smooth, rounded surfaces with

elongated ends to protect the rubber blade and guard against splashes.

Vikan Double Blade Ultra Hygiene Squeegee - Effi cient in areas such as large food production

facilities, collecting every particle with fl exible non-porous rubber blades. These squeegees

feature replaceable rubber cassettes designed to move liquids and debris on tiled, uneven

surfaces.

Vikan Double Blade Foam Rubber Squeegee — The neoprene rubber blades make this

squeegee the most effective at moving large amounts of liquid on smooth and tiled surfaces.

The soft rubber effi ciently reaches into all spaces on fl oors, such as grouting.

Products from Remco and Vikan® should be regularly

maintained for long life and to comply with food safety

standards. In most applications, daily care and cleaning of

tools is recommended. To do so, follow these guidelines:

A thorough wet cleaning of tools is recommended

following use to produce reliable sanitary conditions.

Remove all visible dirt and clean the tools with an agent

deemed appropriate for your production environment.

Check with your chemical manufacturer for specifi c

recommendations on concentration, temperature, and

time when used in conjunction with cleaning tools. Tools

are not intended to remain in caustic baths or soaks for

extended periods of time. Tools should be rinsed with

clean water following cleaning.

If required or necessary, Remco and Vikan tools are

designed to be disinfected after washing. Check with

your chemical manufacturer for specifi c recommendations

on concentration, temperature, and time as well as the

need for rinsing disinfectant residue. Note: Remco and

Vikan products may be cleaned at temperatures up to

250˚ F/121˚ C if required.

In all cases, be sure to hang and dry tools properly before

storing or reintroducing into a controlled dry environment.
