9. For rule 56, the fol1owing shall be substituted, namely:­"56. Deposit of revenue.- . . .

(I) The. revenue with interest from minor minerals under the provisions of these rules within the control of Municipal Corporation, Municipality, Nagar Panchayat or Panchayats, shall be first deposited in the Consolidated Fund of the State as per sub-rule {3) of rule 10. The State Government at the beginning of the financial year, if the Legislative Assembly has provided by an appropriation, shall draw from the Consolidated Fund all such amount which is to be distributed from the revenue of the minor minerals received in the preceding financial year.

(2) The amount drawn as per sub-rule (1), shall be distributed for development of the areas affected by quarrying and related operaiton of minor minerals as per the directions and procedure prescribed by the State Government.

(3) Above sub-rule (1) shall not apply to the revenue received from minor rneneral "Sand" which is directly deposited to the Municipal Corporation!Municipality/Nagar Panchayat or Panchayats.

10. For heading and sub-rule (1) of rule 60, the following shall be substituted, namely : ­"60. Application for appeal. ­

(1) An application shall be made in triplicate in FORM XXI appended to these rules. The application for appeal shall be accompanied by a treasury receipt showi~g that a fee of one thousand rupees has been paid in to Government Treasury under the head of Account
