Important change in AMS Feature

The AMS (Automatic Mode Select) feature of the FT1DR/DE has

been changed as follows:

To utilize the AMS transmit mode: go to Set Mode [2 TX/RX] à choose [2 DIGITAL] à choose [1 DIGITAL mode] à choose [AMS

MODE], and then return to the MAIN operating screen.

Using the [DX] key, choose the AMS operating mode with reference to

the following table:

four communication modes to match the received

signal.

mode.

The RX mode is automatically selected from the

four communication modes to match the received

signal.

TXThe TX mode is automatically changed to the "DN"

mode.

TX VW

RX

The RX mode is automatically selected from the

four communication modes to match the received

signal.

TXThe TX mode is automatically changed to the "VW"

mode.

The OO symbol display differs according to the received signal.
