If you have already submitted an application for graduate awards, you can simply submit the essay to [email protected]. The deadline for this and all other graduate awards is February 1, 2020. 2020 Big Idea Gator Business Plan Competition: Open to all UF students, this competition was created to help students grow their business ideas. It is a four-month competition in the spring where teams of students begin by creating growth-oriented business models. These teams go on to research and produce rough drafts to complete business plans. The top 4 teams compete for a chance to win over $40,000 in prizes. Removing the priority restrictions is a manual process, and will take place somewhere between 8:00 and 8:30am. Remember, managing enrollment caps is also a manual process. Some sections may fill up, but have seats released later. If the classes you want are closed, keep checking. Graduate Research Assistants Needed: Professor Robert Knechel is looking to hire graduate accounting students to work approximately 60 hours over the next 4-6 weeks. Responsibilities include downloading documents from public websites, creating an organized file and extracting information from the documents into an excel spreadsheet. Required skills/abilities include basic knowledge of the company’s financial statements, ability to work with excel, ability to organize work and handle working with multiple document types. “Introduction to Law @ Levin.” The Levin College of Law is inviting students to register for this 1-credit course, URP 4905, Class Number 25447, Wednesdays at 3pm on the Levin Law campus. Course Description: Who gets rights? What is feminist legal theory, or critical race theory, and how do they work? What is property and how do you transfer it? Can you contract anything? What does it mean to be harmed, and then “made whole”? What are constitutions? UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS DEADLINE APPROACHING - Junior Scholarship Applications: Thanks to the generous contributions of some accounting firms, the Fisher School of Accounting has scholarship programs designed to reward undergraduate students who have distinguished themselves after completion of all required 3000 level accounting courses (ACG 3101 and ACG 3401). We have two applications available. Eligible students are welcome and encouraged to apply to both scholarship programs, but may only be awarded one. The local chapter, NorthCentralFlorida.score.org, is looking for part-time administrative help. Most of the work can be done from your home or apartment, and the pay is $12.50/hr.
