Practical guide

FS 1 “Back to school” from 15/11

Educational organisation

Current health measures specific to the FS1 level limit the capacity of the classes to 50% oftheir total capacity. Groups of up to 10 students will be welcomed each day by a teacherand an assistant. This ensures optimal sanitary and learning conditions at school butrequires the introduction of a hybrid format with an alternation of day/house.

Sunday, November 15: Group 1 students “back to school”Monday, November 16: Group 2 students “back to school”

Each class is divided into two groups. The groups will alternate over a two-week period sothat each student can benefit from maximum time at school. This organization istemporary and as soon as it is allowed, we are ready to welcome all students full time. The group learning from home will receive educational activities through our Seesawplatform, which has already been in place since the beginning of the school year, followingthe lessons learned in the classroom. Afternoon, Zoom appointments, video clips andother activities will be offered to students, and especially students at home to keep intouch daily.

-Arabic and English classes are taught at school.

-Nap time is not organized during school time.

A strengthened health protocol

-All FS1 classes represent a specific macro-bubble that does not come into contact withother macro-bubbles present at school. FS1 students benefit from spaces specific to theirmacro-bubble (toilets, halls, corridors, recreation room)

-Body temperature is systematically controlled for anyone entering the school.

-FS1 students do not wear a mask, but the mask is mandatory for all students from grades1 to grade 5 and all adults present in the school.

-FS1 students do not need to take a COVID test, except in case of symptoms. All schoolstaff undergo a COVID test every 15 days.

-The school is regularly inspected by the authorities to ensure compliance with sanitarymeasures.

-Disinfectant gel dispensers are available at the entrance of each class, and throughout theschool.

-Only children who have filled in the health declaration will be able to return to school. Those considered “high risk" will not be accepted to return to school.
