Educational ObjectivesAfter attending the symposium, participants should be able to•Understandandimplementthenewbiological

concepts that are applied to contemporaneous cancer care (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes);

•Comprehendtheimpacttumorgeneticsandmolecular tumor markers exert on the selection of patients for targeted cancer therapy (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes);

•Recognizeandembarkuponinterdisciplinary collaboration with members of the respective translational and clinical teams for optimal up-to-date cancer care (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes);

• Identifyandapplyoptimalorderandtimingofdifferent treatments based on evidence and emerging paradigms, for the management of breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, head and neck, lung, and melanoma cancers (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes).

Target AudienceThis symposium will be beneficial to medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, general surgeons, otolaryngologists, urologists, internists, physician assistants, oncology nurses, and advanced practice nurses involved in the care of patients with breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, head and neck, lung and melanoma cancers.

Educational MethodLectures,CasePresentationIncluding InteractiveAudienceParticipation,Question and Answer Session

EvaluationA course evaluation form will provide participants with the opportunity to comment on the value of the program content to their practice decisions, performance improvement activities, or possible impact on patient health status. Participants will also have the opportu-nity to comment on any perceived commercial bias in the presentations as well as to identify future educational topics.

GoalThis symposium will consist of four days focused on providing information about changing paradigms in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in cancer therapy. Many of the presentations and interactive educational case presentations are geared to highlight new information and answer controversial questions. The practitioner attending the symposium will obtain current information from interdisciplinary teams of disease-sitespecificoncologistsrecognizedintheir specialty. This is intended to improve practitioner knowledge, performance, patient management and outcomes. Program Co-Chairs
