Front Linkage The FKDR front linkage kit has been developed by Kersten to provide a front mounting system for these implements. In the case of attachments that require hydraulic power the FKDR/Hydr is used. These kits include a hydraulic pump, tank and valve system to provide the hydraulic services. All the FKDR kits are tailored precisely to the model application, the pump and tank mounting have been predetermined by Kersten. A quick attach A frame allows the implement to be mounted in seconds.

The grit spreader fits on the rear of the mower and is powered by the FKDR/Hydr kit. When fitted to a direct collect machine the catcher is removed and the spreader fits in place.

Great Specs The sweepers may be driven by power take off drive or using the tractor hydraulics. These machines have been designed to operate on the limited oil flow these small tractors provide. In common with all Kersten sweepers a collector and gulley brush may be fitted. Hydraulic collector emptying is also available. Make more use of your power units with these useful attachments.

Front Mounting This range of machines have been specially developed for mounting on the front of the smaller compact or sub compact tractor and up-front rotary mowers 14–24 hp. They utilise the original front linkage and power take off and/or hydraulic system. Front mounting allows maximum visibility and manoeuvrability. Kersten can help with supplying the correct linkage for your tractor if required.

Compatibility Kersten supply these units ready to fit the specified tractor, linkage arrangement. PTO shaft and hydraulic couplings We can even colour match the attachment.

Sweepers The selected size of sweeper should normally be just wider than the tractor wheel width. In common with all Kersten sweepers a collector and gulley brush may be fitted. The

collector is emptied hydraulically. The standard angling feature is hydraulic. The sweepers may be operated by a front PTO or by hydraulic services — an oil flow of 15 litres/min is required. The gulley brush is also operated hydraulically. This may be from tractor services or alternatively kersten fit an independent pump and oil tank that is driven from the sweeper. Special collector styles are also available for high volume leaf/organic debris

Heavy duty These machines are designed for front mounting on to most tractors using their own front linkage or, in the case of up-front mower power units, directly on the mower mountings. Either way it should be only a quick hitch frame or a few linkage pins. Some of these implements also require a front PTO. These machines have been engineered for front linkage use and maximum performance.

Gravel Path Renovator The gravel path renovator uses special rotating tines to gently cut in to the surface at a depth determined by the adjustment roller. This effect also sepa-rates the organic material from the gravel where is possible to rake or blow the material in to piles for later collec-tion. This robust machine is PTO driven only and requires about 25 hp +

Sweepers Of coarse rear mounted is not as versatile as front mounting but sometimes its all you need. In common with all Kersten sweepers a collector may be f i t ted. Hydraul ic col lector emptying is also available and in the case of the Compact 520 it is standard. The HFKM’s compact, light weight design is ideal for smaller tractors but it is strong enough to be handled but a mid range compact tractor.
