Senior Clearance and the School MagazineClearance time is almost here. Senior clearance will be held on Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 October. For your son/daughter to be eligible to receive a 2017 school magazine, all subject and sports costs and the school donation must have been paid in full, unless an automatic payment is operating and all costs are paid in full by the end of Term 4. Rosehill College can now accept payment by credit card at the Cashier's office and the Resource Room.

Although the school donation is voluntary, the Board of Trustees requests that you give serious consideration to paying this if you have not already done so, as it provides for many things not covered by the government grants that we receive. For example, the school magazine is fully paid for from parent contributions and cannot be purchased.

Congratulations to the following students who received awards at the Celebration Assemblies held on Monday and Wednesday of this week.

Together we create an environment for

personal excellence

Girls RugbyOn Thursday 28th September the Rosehill College girl’s rugby team were given the opportunity to go along to the Black Ferns public celebration ceremony. It was held at the Manukau Vodafone Events Centre. Thank you to ASB for supplying transport to get our girls to and from the venue. It was inspiring to hear the questions and answers of some of the team especially from team captain Fiao’o Fa’Amausili who confessed that she has not yet watched the replay of the final match where the Black Ferns beat England to win the Woman’s Rugby World Cup 2017. Fa’Amausili mentioned that she has not had a lot of down time since returning from Ireland where the World Cup was held due to renovations of her house and studying to become a police officer.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed this trip and were motivated by the determination of these women to prove that with hard work it is possible to be the best.

Sports AwardsThe Rosehill College annual Sports Awards will be held Thursday 2 November, doors open 5:30pm. Tickets will go on sale Week 1, Term 4 and will be available to purchase from the Sports Office or school Cashier.
