I fully endorse the whole Lifeline organisation from top to bottom. I have always dealt with polite, knowledgeable people who stand behind all of their state of the art products. I know the Lifeline service has saved my mother’s life at least a half a dozen times and assisted in her recovery due to the prompt actions that were taken. The automatic medication dispensing machine has given me the peace of mind that she will never overdose again.

I had heard about Lifeline through advertisements in the media and felt my parents would be candidates for the service. As it turned, out we couldn’t have been more correct.

Since we signed up for Lifeline, the system has been used many times. What our family has been very thankful for is the quick and efficient response we have received both from Lifeline and the ambulance service. The response time for an ambulance to arrive is a direct reflection of a call being place quickly for help. Let me say every call received from Lifeline has been in a very timely fashion. Moments after an incident occurs, I receive a call informing me a fall has happened and communication has been made with my parents and, if needed, an ambulance has been dispatched. This is 24 hour a day peace of mind for all family members concerned.

We have probably used Lifeline over the past year countless times and I have to say without fail Lifeline has been there for us in a very professional manner thus given me and my parents the confidence to go about our daily routines with without worry.

I wanted to thank you for the Philips Medication Dispenser. I told my pharmacist how the bubble pack medication was just not working for him. He was forgetting to take his medication on time or taking them too often. My pharmacist recommended the service which has been a life saver for my dad - and my peace of mind for me.

Dad used the Philips Medication Dispenser until he went into full care and then my mom used it until she just went into full care as well. Having this service gave me less worry. They both always took their medication when prompted by the dispenser and, if they didn’t take the dose on time, I would get an alarm advising me. I would highly recommend this service. It is the best thing I could have done for my parents who both have dementia.

My only regret regarding the ‘Philips Medication Dispensing Service’ is that I didn’t sign my 86 year old Mother up for the service a lot sooner!! It would of alleviated a lot of concern, stress and time for our family as Mom aged and started getting forgetful.

Everything was explained very clearly and I was walked through the procedure. The automated reminders are very precise. Plus the Philips Medication Dispenser is connected to the Lifeline Response Centre so I was called right away when Mom missed a dose so I could check in on her24/7!!! What a weight off of me and our family.
