The fundamental purpose

of assessment is not to rate, rank, sort, and humiliate students, but

rather to provide meaningful FEEDBACK that leads to improved performance.

What is our goal?

We must find “…a sustainable approach to assessment that is not dependent upon political winds or transient legislative mandates. The professional practices and policies (suggested in this book) transcend time, borders, and cultures.”
