Welcome to the INSPIRE & ENABLE Frog VLE Guide!


Congratulations on being selected to be part of The Frog Team! As a member of this team, you will play a key role in the successful implementation of the Frog VLE in your school. As a Frog Team member, you will be responsible for promoting the Frog VLE and its benefits to your colleagues and students. Your enthusiasm and commitment will spur others to join you on this exciting journey with Frog. We believe that your role is crucial to the successful implementation of this project. As such we have created this guide as a step-by-step plan that will guide you towards using the Frog VLE confidently.

Implementing Your VLE: An Overview

To ensure the successful implementation of the Frog VLE, we have outlined an Implementation Roadmap that will enable your school to move from your current stage to full VLE implementation over a period of 40 weeks: This Frog Team Guide encompasses the Inspire & Enable Stage, and focuses on the first 8 weeks after your VLE Training.

To achieve basic VLE usage, follow the week-by-week checklists below in order to use the Frog VLE for administrative work, teaching & learning and communication in your school. the Clock, Calendar and Notes widgets) and name it

Your Frog Team will consist of your Senior Leadership Team along with the selected teachers and students, who will work together to build and introduce Frog to your school. Each individual has key roles and responsibilities as shown below:

6. Serves as an informal support system in terms of VLE usage

7. Organises all Frog-related school competitions / campaigns /events

8. Documents the progress of school competitions / campaigns / events by taking pictures, writing articles etc.
