Suit of hearts from a deck of cards

Lay the photograph on your altar. Surround the picture with the playing cards. Lay

the Ace of Hearts on top of the photo. Hold your hands over the cards, and say:

Blessings from the Goddess above.

Cast away our hurt and pain

Let us be good friends again.

Help us solve all tears and woes

Bring us happiness, head to toes.

Strengthen our bond of love and respect

Needed: Small apple with long, strong stem

2-3 bags of medium-sized red sequins

Sequin pins

Small magnet

Piece of paper

Black marker

13 inch long red ribbon

Hole punch

Cleanse, consecrate, and empower all supplies. Carefully insert the magnet into the

bottom of the apple. Carefully cover the apple with the sequins. Write on the paper exactly what you want for the ideal roommate -- be specific. Fold the paper, then

punch a hole through it. Thread the ribbon through the paper and tie it to the apple

stem. Cast a magick circle and call the quarters, then stand in the center of the circle

and hold the apple high in the air with both hands. Say:

"Blessings from the east

Blessings from the south



Blessings from the west

Blessings from the north

Gifts of the Lord and Lady

Water and earth

Fire and air

The heartbeat of companionship

All will be there!"

Read aloud the list on the paper. Place the apple on your altar and leave it there until

you find the roommate that is right for you. If you have any doubts, remember to use

your divination tool. Don't forget to thank divinity, close the quarters, and release the

circle.

Needed: Brown sugar

1 teaspoon dirt

Brown candle

Small fire-resistant bowl

Needle or pin

Lemon

Cast your magick circle, call the quarters, and do your altar devotion. Place your

supplies on the center of the altar. Cleanse, consecrate, and empower them in the

name of friendship.

Place the brown sugar and dirt in the bowl. Hold your hands over the bowl and say:

"Element of Earth, I call you into my circle, and into this bowl.

This sugar and dirt represents the fertile earth,

A place from which new friendships for me can grow."

Scratch your name, some hearts, and the words new friendships on the candle. Hold

the candle tightly in your hands, close your eyes, and say:

"Element of Fire, work my will by my desire.

Bring me new friends that will treat me well.

Fiery bird, send out my word, bring back some honest, loving friends."

Place the candle upright in the bowl of brown sugar and dirt. Pack the brown sugar

around the candle so it won't fall down. Make sure the candle sits evenly in the

brown sugar and dirt. Hold the lemon in your hand and say:

"Lemons, bring honest friends my way, protect my feelings every day."



Cut the lemon and squeeze the juice onto the brown sugar and dirt around the candle

in as even a circle as you can.

Light the candle. Hold your hands over the bowl carefully and say:

"I search the universe for friends

Strong, and true to the very end.

I look in field and fairy glen

And where the dragons once have been.

I search for truth and honesty

I look for love and loyalty

I touch the pulse of energy

I manifest a friend for me.

As I will, so mote it be!

With harm to none.

May this spell not reverse,

Or place upon me any curse,

And may all astrological correspondences be correct for this working.

So mote it be!"

Let the candle burn while you visualize yourself surrounded by loving, honest, and

loyal friends. Open your eyes and snuff out the candle. Thank Spirit for helping you,

close your quarters and release the circle.

For the next seven days, light the candle each night and repeat the verse and

visualization. If you do not have new, true friends in thirty days, repeat the spell.

Needed:

Pink candle

Good luck/friendship oil

Pink silk ribbon

White silk ribbon

Cast the Circle.

Arrange altar.

Invoke Goddess and God.

You will want to anoint the pink with Good Luck oil all the while thinking of the

friends that you want to make. Imagine yourself laughing with them, going out with

them. Really see yourself with them.



After your candle has been anointed, you may light it. At this point you may call out

the things that are important to you in a friend: honesty, trust, open mindedness,

humor, whatever. As you light the candle, see the flame as being the energy that

burns between any two close friends.

When this is completed, take your two pieces of silk ribbon and weave them

together. Simply winding them around each other will do. While you do this, think

of bringing that friend closer to you. This binding process is reminiscent of pagan

hand fasting rituals. You are binding that friend to you, making them loyal to you, a

way any good friend should be. You do notdo notdo notdo not want to bind a specific person to you, as

that kind of magic is harmful since is harms the other person's free will. Only bind

the idea of the perfect friend to you.

Once you have done this, tie the ribbon to the base of your candle as best as you can.

The candle's light is a beacon to bring friendship to you and another person.

When this is done, you may wish to sit and meditate on the spell that you have just

cast, sending your energies out to bring that perfect friend to you. When you feel that

your spell has been completed, then it has. Let your candle burn all the way out and

release your circle, thanking the Goddess and the God.

Needed:

Pink candle Vial of strawberry oil

Tiny quartz crystal (Small enough to fit into the vial)

Draw the magick circle and call in the elemental powers. Light the candle, and invite

your favorite God and/or Goddess into the circle. Hold the vial of oil in your hands,

rolling it between them so that it becomes war. Add the tiny crystal to the bottle of

oil. Then roll the oil between your hands again, and say:

“Oil of friendship, caring, sharing and beauty

Bring the joy and happiness of friendship to me

By the power of the element, as I will, so shall it be!”

Place the vial of oil on your altar for thirteen days. After this time, use the friendship

oil for anointing yourself just prior to going out to parties, class, sporting events,

work, or whenever you want to make new friends.

Needed:



Fresh flowers

White candle

Ballpoint pen

Vanilla oil

Small white stone

Cool water

Set the fresh flowers on your altar. Then was the candle in cool water, dry it and

place it on the altar. Next, draw a magick circle and call in the elemental powers.

Invoke your favorite goddess or god by chanting their names three times. Use the pen

to write the words “magick Friend” on the candle body, and then rub the candle with

a thin film of vanilla oil. When you are done, put the candle in its holder on the altar.

Next, anoint yourself with the vanilla oil, rubbing three drops on both of your feet,

knees, hips, elbows, and hands, along with three drops on your forehead, finishing

with three drops on the top of your head. Next, apply three drops of oil to the stone

and hold it in your receiving hand, and say:

“Powers of Earth, powers divine

Our energies do entwine

Bring my magick friend to me

So be it! Blessed be!”

Continue holding the stone, and begin imagining your magick friend, with all the

qualities you admire. See and sense yourself reaching out and getting in touch with

this magick friend. Feel the joy and wonder of your friendship and connection. After

doing this for a few minutes, put the stone back upon the altar, and wipe the oil from

your hands. Then light the candle, merge with the flame, and say:“Candle, candle, light the way

Candle, candle, that I may

See my magick friend in your light

Bless me now, and give me sight.”

Continue gazing at the candle, noticing it is a beacon of magick light, a beacon that

draws your magick friend closer. Keep gazing at the flame while you call out the

qualities that you desire in a magick friend, such as loyalty, honesty, and humor, as

well as kindness, a helping hand, trust, and creativity. Call to your magick friend. Do

this out loud in a strong determined voice. Explain that your friendship is a two-wayexchange, and that they, too, will benefit from your connection. State what you are

willing to give, and what you want to receive from the magick friendship. Be specific.

Ask your friend to help you attain your magickal goals.

After you are finished calling out to your magick friend, imagine his or her face in the

candle flame. Do this for a few minutes. Sit back, holding the stone in your hand, and



send your magick friend a special message, or ask a pressing question. Make a mental

note of your experience. When you are finished, bid farewell to the elements, thank

your magick friend, and pull up the circle. Use the stone anytime you want to

communicate with your magick friend.

Needed:

1 candle (pink preferably, though white for peace, harmony)

2 pink cups (to represent relationship/love)

1 lemon (which represents love)

Incense (rose preferably)

Sea salt

Knife

Permanent pen

This spell is notnotnotnot for drawing people unfairly together. It is for strengthening the bondbetween two or more people. Its very simple.

Open a circle and say together that the lemon represents your everlasting care for

each other. Cut two pieces of the rind away about the size of a half dollar. Squeeze

the lemon juice into the cups and before you drink say that you:

"Are now taking in the juice of friendship taken from the same lemon, we who live in

the same world."

Take the pieces of rind you saved and put them in water (for elemental water), the

salt (for earth), the incense (for air) and then dry them in the flame slightly. Writeyour name with the pen on the lemon rinds and exchange them with you friend

saying that you:

"Now give them this gift of friendship for them to ever keep as a token of friendship.

We now recognize our eternal friendship. So mote it be."

Leave the rinds somewhere warm to dry them and then treasure them in a safe place!

Needed:

White candle anointed with sandalwood oil

Sandalwood incense

Photo of the person

Small glass of water

Salt

This spell should be used to cause someone with whom you have lost contact to

contact you. It is not manipulation so much as an astral call for contact when you



have no other way to reach them that you know of.

Light the white candle and the incense. Place the picture of the person on your altar.

Put two heaping tablespoons of salt in the palm of your right hand. Let a small

amount of salt trickle into the glass while making the sign of the equal armed cross of

the elements. Make this cross three times. Say: "Call me" three times as you do this.

Then set the glass on the altar and say: "Get in touch with me, please." They should

contact you by the time the water has evaporated from the glass.

Needed:

Pink candle

Rose quartz

Sunflower oil

Inscribe a pink candle with your name, then anoint the rose quartz with sunflower oil. Light the candle. Hold the stone in your hand, and visualize friendships coming

your way and a new relationships forming

chant three times:

“Open mind, and gain new life,

gone from you, all stress and strife.

open heart, gain life anew.

accept all love that's offered you.

positive thought and word and deed.

enter now, of bane I'm freed

ancient, hear me -- grant my plea to new relationships, open me.”

Place the stone by the candle and leave it there until the candle burns down. Carry

the stone with you.

A dried fern

A small sachet of yellow or gold fabric

Grind up the dried fern into the consistency of tea. Place the equivalent of a

tablespoon in the small fabric sachet. Carry it around your neck.

4 feathers of a bird

7 hairs of a cat

Reduce the feathers and hair to powder, then place this powder in the small, green

silk bag. Carry the bag in contact with your skin, in the left area of the chest, one

Friday of spring, or on the day of the winter solstice.

Needed:

2 sterilized needles

An incense cone of patchouli

An apple

With the needle, delicately prick the finger of the other person then drop two or

three drops of blood on the incense cone. Speak the following aloud:

“Let it be known the blood of (name of person) hereby binds the friendship of (same

name as previously stated).”

Now, with the other clean needle, prick your own finger and drop two or three drops

of blood on the same incense cone and repeat the same thing, but this time saying

your name. Light the incense, pass the apple three times above the smoke of the

incense cone, then slice it into two with the knife. Offer a piece to the other person

and eat half.
