Whether students are looking for careers in music, or seek to perform with excellent music ensembles, or simply want to have a better understanding of music for personal enjoyment, support from the Lenoir-Rhyne University Friends of Music Program helps to make their musical dreams come true.

Lenoir-Rhyne has a long tradition of music-making which has inspired the college family and the surrounding community. For many years, Lenoir-Rhyne supporters have enjoyed the sounds of the A Cappella Choir and the Concert Band. Music ensembles have provided hundreds of free concerts for students and the community. Nationally know conductors have led the groups. Today this enthusiasm for music has never been higher. We enjoy and

celebrate the skill of more than a hundred students who are members of Lenoir-Rhyne musical ensembles.

The Friends of Music Program was established to ensure the continuing legacy of music-making for generations to come. Gifts to Friends of Music help to provide an outstanding concert series as well as enrichment opportunities for music students through special summer study awards.
