September 20, 2015 Series: A Night At The Movies

As Christians, followers of Jesus, we like to think that we have good news for the world. We like to tell ourselves that we are offering people life and life abundantly! While that is true, we definitely are stewards of very, very good news (salvation from sin and death), we can't forget that Jesus himself said there would be hard times. Not only did Jesus point out that being his follow-ers would include hardship, but he went further by saying that we'd suffer specifically because we were his followers! So, then, how do we respond? What are we to do when we run into that hardship and persecution? Today we'll be continuing our Night at the Movies sermon series and learn a little bit from some cute cartoon fish about how we are called to "Just Keep Swimming". Join us today as we worship God, and encourage each other on this journey called life.

Dorothy “Dot” Schiller, passed away Friday, August
28 at the age of 96. There will be a Memorial Ser-
vice on Saturday, September 26 here at ACC at
11:00 am, with a reception immediately following in
Erdman Hall.
Shirley Ann Seney passed away Wednesday, September 9. She was
83. We will greatly miss both of these vibrant ladies.
