A Big Thank You From Milverton Thank you so much to all the children and

families who donated books through the

Usborne buy-a-book scheme, organised

by Fiona Henshaw.

The children are very excited about their

new books (as are the teachers!) and

they are looking forward to reading

them in class during the summer term.

Each book has a special label inside so

the children will know who generously

donated it - look out for your own name

if you were able to buy us a book.

Many thanks to Fiona for organising the

scheme - we love our new books!

Royal Wedding!

Our reception children have been learning all

about weddings this week, including a royal

wedding celebration today. They also had a

wedding ceremony earlier this week! We really

enjoyed their class assembly with lots of songs,

paintings and lovely crowns!

Congratulations to our ‘Star Learners’ last week

Onside Coaching – May Half-Term Holiday Courses

Onside Coaching are now taking bookings for the May Half-Term school holidays. You can find them at

Aylesford School in Warwick from Tuesday 29th May to Friday 1st June, where they will be offering a choice of

multi-sports, football or dance. Full wraparound care is available from 8.30 till 5.00. For details of how to book,

Please be aware that the online messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ have now update their terms of use, and require

that all users of WhatsApp confirm that they are at least 16 years of age. The school works with all children to

help them understand age restrictions for online services and games; please support us by sharing the same

message with your child at home if they currently use WhatsApp. Thank you!

Y6 and Y2 SATs

A huge well done to all our children in Year 6 and Year 2 who have completed their SAT’s tests this week. They

have all workd really hard, preparing for these tests with great support from the Milverton staff. We have

received some lovely comments from parents and grand parents about how the children haven’t felt the

pressure of these national tests , which is a testament to the hard work of our staff. So our thanks goes to the

staff and especially to the children for trying their best! Well done and thank you for your continued support.
