From the WIC Policy and Procedure Manual – Services 300.10 Contact Agency Personnel Training Additional Required Training - Continued The following training modules are required and can be completed on the Prepare Iowa Learning Management System (PILMS). The table below lists the required training topic, who needs to receive the training, and when the training should be provided. Completion of the training module will need to be recorded on the employee’s Training and Education Record.

All staff using the WIC data system shall complete the “Securing the Human” security
awareness training annually. Record information on each employee’s Training and Education Record after completion of
these training events. There are additional trainings that are required before attending the NETC (found on the
NETC Homework Checklists), for some of the core training workshops, and for local agency WIC Coordinators. See the specific sections in this policy regarding these required trainings.
Fiscal Integrity 200.438 Entertainment costs. Costs of entertainment, including amusement, diversion, and social activities and any associated costs are unallowable, except where specific costs that might otherwise be considered entertainment have a programmatic purpose and are authorized either in the approved budget for the Federal award or with prior written approval of the Federal awarding agency.
Note: Examples of unallowable costs include WIC employee celebrations i.e., costs associated with anniversary or retirement.

WIC Director
Operation Threshold is accepting applications for the position of Director of the Women’s, Infant’s, and Children’s Nutrition Program (WIC). This is a full time position eligible for full agency benefits. This position manages WIC services and staff in the 6 counties served from our Waterloo office. Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS in Dietetics, Nutrition, Nursing, or health related field or be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with 5 years of public health experience. Dietitians must be licensed by the Iowa Board of Dietetics. Must have 3 years supervisory/program admin. exp., excellent communication skills - WIC experience is preferred. Must have ability to develop positive relationships with a variety of people including community and health professionals.
