Topic: Grammar (Past Progressive)
The Past Progressive tense is formed with the past tense of the verb to be plus de ing of the
main verb.
The Past Progressive is used to talk about actions in the past that don’t have a specific
duration.
Past Progressive
• Is used to describe what was happening at the
same time something else was happening.
• Is used to describe what was happening at the
time another event interrupted that action.
• It’s formed with the verb to be conjugated in
simple past (was/were) plus verb with ing
Instructions:

Topic: Grammar (Simple Future)
We use the Simple Future tense to talk about things that will happen at a time later than
now.
To form the Simple Future we used the auxiliary will/won´t and the simple form of the verb.
Simple Future
• Refer to a specific time in the future.
• Form with the auxiliary will.
• It´s used to express a voluntary action.
• It´s used to express a promise.
Instructions:
Exercise 1: Write two times the form of the simple future.

States of adjective er or most
We are going to learn when to use ‑er and when to use –more. This rule will help you “The
Syllable Rule”.
One-syllable adjectives (In almost all cases, use er)

Note: In some expressions, one-syllable adjectives use more to form the comparative:
