In fact, the trio joined forces again for the Taste of New OrleansFundraiser for the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation where Spirits onBourbon was a sponsor and Chef Ron Duprat was a celebrity Chef. In addition to preparing gumbo for the event, Chef Duprat was ‘auctioned off ’ for a private lunch at Spirits on Bourbon the next day.

Chef Duprat considers New Orleans his second home though heresides primarily in Florida. Chef Duprat explains that there is a familiar connection in food culture between the two areas but admitshe is fascinated by the differences in Creole cuisine across bothregions, particularly in New Orleans.

“We were thrilled to host Chef Duprat while he was again in NewOrleans, and look forward to his next visit,” said Bohannan.
