DENIM A NEW WARDROBE STAPLE

_There is a four points increase on people usually wearing jeans from 2006 to 2010 in the UK, reinforcing the denim as no longer a fad but a staple and strong trend_ Eight in ten under 35’s usually wear jeans. _More than 4 out of 10 in the under 35’s age group will buy new items every seasons and therefore shop more frequently. Customer between 25-34 years old are the strongest share of the market who bought jeans in the last 12 months._The average adult in the UK own more than 4 pairs of jeans, also more than one in five own between five to seven pair of jeans, particularly women under 35’s who tend to shop more frequently in order to keep up with the latest fashion.
