// ISSUE // an energy sustainable problem
The WORLD is RUNNING OUT of natural RESOURCES
ARE THESE SOLUTIONS? Why projecting a cooling system which uses alternative energy sources instead
Maybe yes or maybe not ( for ex: photovoltaic
energy has low efficiency and is made by non-renewable and
running out resources as silicon)

Latent heat accumulators, they exploit the transition phases to absorb and store a large amount of energy, while maintaining their temperature constant.
Refrigeration system that does not use electricity. The cooling is induced by the evaporation of the liquid, along with the PCM capsules.
Thermodynamical physical phenomenon through which it has a cooling, as a result of evaporation of a liquid.Sweating is a natural example of this principle, thanks to which one can maintein a constant temperature

PCM
is a substance with a high heat of fusion which, melting and solidifying at a certain temperature, is capable of storing and releasing large amounts of energy. Heat is absorbed or released when the material changes from solid to liquid and vice versa; thus, PCMs are classified as latent heat storage (LHS) units.

Materials: ceramic, alluminum, water and glass foam (the inner layer has a really important role, and I made many different experimentation with different materials, but in my opinion PCM could be the best solution

To embark on a path which starting point is energy indipendence and sustainability (particularly in Italy, in the first places of the energy-importing countries)
To save exhaustible fossile resources toward the use of a clean and natural energy
domestic food preservation product, that works
by “evaporative cooling” technology
+ PCM and smart materials (possibility to be
on the market before 2015)
assimilation by the public of the FREEIJIS system as a method of cooling, natural and effective, that can be applied to other hypothesized fields
experimental product about domestic food
preservation process with evaporative cooling
cooling system that does not use electricity
To use technology to macro-reproduce a micro-natural pprocess that has evolved and perfected over millions of years: the sweating
