Free Web Conference Helps Caregivers Create a SeniorFriendly Home for Parents

The non-profit National Private DutyAssociation (NPDA), along with its state chapters, has announced that it will host a consumereducation web conference entitled Creating a Senior Friendly Home to Help Parents Age in Place onJune 16, 2011, at 8 p.m. EST (7 p.m. CT). The live and interactive program is being held duringNational Home Safety Month and will provide advice on how to design and furnish a home to createa safe environment for a senior aging at home. The event is free of charge to participants.
Topics include designing a home for senior safety and comfort, addressing changing health needs,appropriate furnishings and ambient technology.
