Introduction• Free throws are shot when fouled.

But can boys make more or less shots with a smaller ball?

Problem• Can boys make more shots with the

28.5 or 27.5 basketball?

Hypothesis• I predict that the boys will make

more with the 28.5 basketball because that’s the basketball we use normally in practice and games.

Materials• 28.5 basketball• 27.5 basketball• Paper • Pen

Procedure• Gather All Materials• Test (Shoot 10 Shots Each)• Write Conclusion• Make Board• Post Results

Conclusion• My hypothesis was correct. They

made more with 28.5 basketball than the 27.5 basketball.

Further Research• Basketball is played all over the

world. In basketball, when players get a foul the person they foul may get to shoot a free throw. Free throws are worth one point each.
