My experience has taught me that choosing the wrong speech therapist can do more harm than good, and accreditation to the appropriate industry bodies, qualifi cations and years of experience, whilst desirable and necessary, are absolutely no guarantee of a speech therapist’s readiness and ability to share in responsibility for your child’s care and development.

Our speech therapy is delivered in one-on-one weekly or fortnightly half-hour sessions. We involve parents and the child’s school in order to work as a team with the child by providing comfortable and positive learning environments, work sheets and fun and exciting games.

We offer a FREE screen to determine if speech therapy is required for your child. For children who are identifi ed as being in need of speech therapy, assessment appointments can be booked in the same day.

The assessment fee is $195 and includes a comprehensive Assessment Report and a Speech Program designedindividually for your child.

Linda Hurst obtained her Bachelor of Speech Pathology from The University of Newcastle and has worked in the private and public sectors both in urban and rural settings. Linda’s interests are in working with preschool and school-aged children and their families to ensure that the development of young people’s speech abilities and skills is as positive as it can be and, especially, to work towards ensuring that any issues related to speech development do not hinder other areas of the child’s development. Linda is a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia, a registered Medicare provider and an FAHCSIA funded speech pathologist (including Better Start).
