Our CustomersNature’s Best CleanersRochester, MNMike Suk has owned and operated Nature’s Best Cleaners in Rochester for over 20 years. He has expanded his plant 3 times over that period. In his latest and most recent expansion, Mr. Suk totally reorganized the finishing side of his plant to accommodate a variety of new Sankosha finishing equipment.

Among the items Mr. Suk recently purchased was the Sankosha LP-190 Double Buck Shirt Press with Sankosha’s patented Cool Curtain, a device that acts like a range hood to draw heat and moisture generated by the shirt unit away from the operator, and vent it outside.

The plant can also now be kept cooler with the new Sankosha SDP-880U Double Legger, as it has a built in vacuum--no need to connect to a central vacuum. This makes it possible to vent this excess heat out through an easily-accessible side wall.

The new equipment has been a godsend in reducing time required for shirt touchup. Whereas Nature’s previously dedicated roughly 7 hours a day to touchup work, Nature’s typically now spend less than 30 minutes per day on it. The drop in touchup work was so extreme, that Mike had to reassign a worker who previously specialized in touchup to another role. “And the shirts come out beautiful,” said Mr. Suk of garments processed on his new Sankosha double buck.

Mike Suk’s son Mike Jr. has joined the company recently as a full time employee. Mike Jr. attended the School of Dry Cleaning Technology at DLI and made many beneficial contacts with dry cleaners throughout the USA.
