Navigating your choice of Classes
There are 3 opportunities to complete this course. Students can choose to take offered classes up to two nights a week to complete their CDA . (The process takes 9-12 months taking one class weekly.)
1. CDA Candidates should be able to discuss the fundamental delivery and functions of a young child's development, and the structural foundation of their physical and mental health growth.
2. CDA candidates should understand how to work with children of various ages.
3. Candidates need to be committed to gaining and applying skills necessary to build a young brain.
4. CDA candidates must realize that professionalism is at the heart of MCCC education and the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington D.C.
5. The two day practice seminar is designed to be a resource that models lessons learned from CDA study units covered in class. This opportunity prepares students for final examinations.
6. The cost is $50.00 (to enrolled MCCC class students). The fee is due 1 month before the scheduled training.
7. Dates for the practice seminar will be announced.
7. Students from other area classes can register for $60.00.
