MATERIALS

• LION BRAND® HOMETOWN (Art. #135)# 108 Washington Denim 1 ball

• LION BRAND® crochet hook size N-13 (9 mm)• LION BRAND® large-eyed blunt needle

GAUGE 9 sc = about 4 in. (10 cm. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

NOTE This Hat is worked as flat rectangle and then seamed.

HAT Chain 22. Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across – you’ll have 21 sc. Row 2: Chain 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across.

Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 20 in. (51 cm) from beginning.

Fasten off. Cut yarn, leaving a long yarn tail.

FINISHING Thread yarn tail into blunt needle. Sew sides of piece together to make the Hat. Thread another length of yarn into blunt needle, then weave in and out of stitches along one long side of Hat, pull to gather for top of Hat and knot.

Weave in ends.
