Chamber InformationThe Frankfort Chamber of Commerce Board Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each calendar month. Suggestions or comments are welcome at regularly scheduled Board meetings during Public Comment. All requests to speak at a Chamber Board Meeting must be submitted in writing to the Chamber office no later than the 10th day of each month to be included on that month’s Board Agenda. The Board President recognizes visitors who are on the agenda, maintains order during the meeting, and calls an end to public comment when deemed appropriate.

holiday season with Midnight Madness on Friday, December 11. Beginning at 6PM, shoppers will find increasing discounts and special holiday promotions, with many stores offering special perks to shoppers wearing their pajamas. For more information visit shophistoricfrankfort.com.

Frankfort Park District – Be on the lookout for the new Winter/Spring brochure to be delivered by the end of December. Dinner with Santa on Friday, December 4 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the Founders Community Center. Celebrate the holidays by joining Santa and Frosty the Snowman for dinner this year. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $9/NR $12 per person. NO TICKETS sold at the door. Space is limited, please register early. Santa’s mailbox is located at the Founders Community Center. Santa will personally write to each child who writes him a letter, be sure to include the following: child’s full name, address, city, zip code and of course, their wish list! Parents, please complete checklist available at the main office or on the park district website. Please address letters to: Santa Claus, 25 Candy Cane Lane, North Pole, c/o Frankfort Park District, 140 Oak Street, Frankfort, IL 60423. All Letters to Santa must be received by December 9 by 5:00 pm. Families can enjoy an evening of holiday fun at Polar Express Pajama Movie Night on Monday, December 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Registration deadline is December 16th and costs $5 per child. The elves are planning some reindeer games and holiday crafts along with the Polar Express movie. A bedtime snack of cookies, popcorn and hot chocolate will be served. Children 4 - 8 years old come celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Frankfort Park District at Countdown to 2016, Thursday, December 31 from 11:30 am - 12:45 pm at the Founders Community Center, $7/NR $10. Dancing, party games, a giant inflatable, crafts, ice cream and there will be a “Countdown to 2016” balloon drop at noon to celebrate the New Year! Registration deadline is December 28th. Kidswork Children’s Museum - Our museum’s board is currently seeking new members to volunteer their time and talent to oversee our mission of bringing families and the community together to engage in fun, hands-on interactive play. We are looking for professionals with expertise in the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Fundraising. All children are encouraged to board in their pajamas and bring a blanket or stuffed animal/doll to reserve their space. St. Nicholas will lead the parade down Kansas Street to Breidert Green for a story by the bonfire with hot cocoa and cookies. In addition, thanks in part to a donation by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, the live reindeer will once again visit Frankfort on Sunday, December 6, from 12-3PM. Chamber Rushes Unexpecting Members Baked Sweets!

New Life Church Cadets is a Christian scouting type ministry for boys in grades 2 through 8. Youth are mentored by Christian men who volunteer their time to help young Cadets develop their faith and high moral character through bible study, service and merit badge work.

Scouting fun for the boys also include campouts, service projects, craft work, pinewood derby, group projects, dodge ball game nights and more.

New Life Church Cadets meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at church, 500 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., September through April. We also have summer activities such as a father/son

canoe trip, a day at the drag races, and a merit badge day. If interested, we welcome you to come and check it out with your boys. Dads are encouraged to attend and spend quality time with their sons as they are able.

2015 December and 2016 January Calendar of EventsAll events take place at the Chamber Office unless otherwise stated.

Accounts will be considered delinquent after thirty days of non-payment and an initial notice will be mailed. A second notice will be mailed after sixty days of non-payment. If no action is taken by the delinquent member, the account will be presented to the Board of Directors upon 90 days of delinquency. Unless specifically approved by the Board of Directors, all members greater than 90 days delinquent will be dropped from the membership.

If a member renews within the grace period (90 days), the member will continue their membership based on their initial anniversary date. Once the member has been dropped from the membership, upon renewal they will be treated as a new member. Reviewed, Revised & Adopted: June 2015.
